Guest lesbaru
When my 96 Legacy is warmed up (and only when it's warm) it makes a creakey rattle and snap in the left wheel well when making left turns. The same noise happens when driving slowly over the ruts and bumps in my parking space (again, only when it's warm and from somewhere in the left wheel area). I crawled under the car and tried to see if anything was loose. Nothing budged. I suspected a heat shield but they all seem to be fine. Perhaps this isn't related, but when the car is warm the clutch creaks as it's being pushed down (no rattle or snap, just a creak) and something rattles when I rev the engine. Any ideas what I should be looking for?
Guest Drquasievil
My 95 Legacy used to make rattle noise at the front end and the dealer replaced the springs under warranty since there was a recall. The rattle was at all times though.
