Uh.. Fix it? 1995 means any EJ22 from 1990-95 will drop right in, just throw your intake manifold on and you're good to go. You can do it in a day if you have an engine lift.

EJ22's are cheap, plentiful, and easy to swap.

I wouldn't use the dealer if you like your wallet.

Cloud of black smoke? not blue?

IT LIVES!!!

The Subaru came back to life late this afternoon on the coroners table! It woke up and said that it's heart (engine) is still beating strong, it just needs a new water pump and timing belt!

Tally:

Timing Belt

Water Pump + Gaskets

Idler Pully + Belt

CV boot

Total = $700 bones

SHE's BULLETPROOF HAHA

You'll be off-roading it soon...:burnout:

um...i don't think so. this thing is MINT (save for the headgaskets).

It only has 34k miles on it and the body and paint are showroom quality. this thing was too great of a find to offroad.

don't worry, once i start making money and buy a house with in-ground lifts in the garage, i'll fashion myself up some 8" lift blocks and stuff a new tribeca engine into an sxv.

my Subaru offroading days aren't over, they're just on hold.
