You heard it right. AWD Inc is transplanting an EG33 into a 99 SUS. We are keeping the 4.44 geared AWD auto trans. Biggest stumbling block right now is the radiator but it looks like we will have to cut the upper rad support to make room. Keep your eyes peeled for pics of progress

Yes... Still needs some water/meth injection badly but that will not happen till the spring... I am also upping to EM to a hydra standalone. Thats neither here nor there. This SUS was dying from a blown HG and rather than fix the tard 2.5 they come with... why not give it some more juice?? Perfect rally machine when we are done... Pics to come soon. This project will be for sale once its completed

update: I tried to wire a SVX OBDII harness into the Legacy harness for simplicity, that was an utter failure and to track down the promlems would be stupid it would take so long. So back to square one with the wiring going OBDI and just wiring the TCU into it seperately... I just need to figure out how the 2 wire speed sensor goes into the dash because the new one has to be a 3 wire... This aughta be fun:rolleyes:

Months later, I finally got around to working on it again. Been kicking around the shop for long enough:rolleyes: Pics and some video of us shooting around our lot. Still needs fans wired in ( i have proform push fans) and I need to figure out why the dash is no longer working... (it was before:rolleyes:)

Yeah, kissed a tree last weekend in it... Nothing too horendous and needs some body work and a lil paint... Need a couple parts... Off to the for sale forums

Ignitor got a little wet doing some bogging so this was unloading it to replace the ignitor

Then this is what the tree did later in the day

Luckily it just missed the frame rail. I already have the wheel apron cut from a junkyard legacy and I have a wanted thread for the rest of the parts we will need.

This was a budget build. We bought the SUS to flip it. When we realized we didn't have enough money to fix the 2.5 in it... We made the ultimate decision to use a spare engine/trans/harness we had here to make it work. Now it is a passion and I refuse to sell it.... SO after the *tree* we rebuilt the front end and got a new set of more appropriate rubber... Pics below

The headlight is a little tweaked on the pass side and I need to mess with some alignment on it..> I also need the two piece healights still to make everything kosher, i am also in the market for a new bumper cover BUT this will do for now to get everything lined up and set
