Moosens you know where to camp right? when is still a mystery.. still waiting on Moosens for a date... i prefer a saturday, just in case something happens you can get to a parts store for parts, also may others have off from work on saturdays. moosens Posted February 26, 2008 Share Posted February 26, 2008 First two weekends in March are out. Third weekend ...that Friday is my B'day...not sure but most likely skip that weekend. Still need a little more time to nail down a good date. Thinking first weekend in April might be better. But,I'd go for one of the last two weekends in March as long as the family plans work out. At this time of the year it might be worth the money to stay in a motel. I've camped at the Batso campground which is part of the State land. It's around back of the area we start off at (Ranger station of Rt. 206 in Atsion). We'll be at the Carlisle Import show the third weekend in may and will probably make another dash through the Barrens on the way home like last year. Need a fresh battery for the '78. New tires - ready that way. Also,I'm pretty sure I'm without a tow strap these days - need to check. Normally for a quality item I don't mind spending , but the ones I've seen lately are like $60 and made in China. Not that my last one wasn't about the same,but I'm just tired of buying Chinese crap. '78 is ready for action now. If someone wanted to wheel during a weekday I might be able to swing that.
