If things go the way im liking them to it will be a two seater mid engine mid travel suspension. dose using the trans and engine from a subaru front wheel drive car. in a mid engine cofiguration. sound do-able? joostvdw Posted April 19, 2008 Share Posted April 19, 2008 the 4 wheel transmission will have an output on the rear of the transmission that will leak oil if there's no shaft in it. You can either put the first half of the first joint in there or be creative and fab something up Also, you cannot use the original gear linkages to control the Hi/Lo gearing, it will need some modding to use Hi/Lo in 2WD, but totally doable and I even believe there is a write up about it. If you are going to use an EJ series engine, you will need an adaptor plate and be creative with the clutch/flywheel.
