all right... since only the aussies are posting pics, and the last was a load of pics, i'll post some up. give me a couple minutes... can't let just the aussies have fun... :lol: i know i've seen a few pics from scottinbellingham in the sand...

just to give you an idea how small these little dunes in patton valley are... that's a lifted toyota on 33's on top of the hill... and these actually are some of the smaller dunes in that area...

Sweet pics! Too bad I have nothing to add to it yet....... so... can anybody tell me if it's legal to drive on the dunes in Florence OR?
and if I need some kind of permit?

Here is a link to the rules.
You need an OHV permit, and a flag 9 feet above the ground for starters.

Yes it does, thanks! I was afraid they might only allow weedwackers, er, dirtbikes and quads on the dunes. For only $10 I can get my proper 4WD out there. Maybe I'll have another Subaru by the time I'm there in September, either way I'll bring the camera.
