My crankshaft pulley ripped the key out of the crank damaging both components.

I drilled a 3/16" hole perpendicular to the crank and put a pin in it, bought a new pulley (repaired the old one with welding but bought a new one anyway) and voila!

I ran it for a week and took it apart again to see if there is any wear on the pin or pulley keyway and everything seems fine, I'll check it again in a couple of months. I can't beleive that pulley can move anyway, not with that amount of torque on the bolt (135 lbs).
