EJ or EG engine mated to chevy th400?

i know someone put a V8 in an XT....not sure how/what it was mounted to though. i think it *pushed* a little tiny bit!

I'm not entirely sure a TH400 is a "wise" choice. In some dyno testing here, a few years back, a "normal" TH400 requires 45HP to turn it. Probably a better choice might be a Powerglide (15HP).

there is a chick on clubwrx that drags their EJ25 wrx, converted to RWD with a TH400 behind it. goes by i think yellow03 i think. real

yes it was. they own their own performance shop called PRE. if you would like to call and talk, heres the number, you need to talk to bobby, its actually his car. jen's (his wife) is the sti swapped forester.

Good info... I tried getting a hold of them through the other bbs, and no response. Others had asked for the name of the shop for the adapter publicly, and they never acknowledged it either. I wonder if they want to be the only one using a th400?
