If your looking to fit 27s then I would go with the 4" but if you got a good idea for you 2" and it will work well then go for it!! What would you do for the homeade lift? I did a 3'' home built on my brat but is based on one from sjr but with a few differences. I used adjustable front struts and then spaced everything down but didn't drop the rear pumpkin as much but its a little different with the ea82 body style so good question?
