ea82 axle question

will axles from a 85 xt fwd 4 speed auto fit into my 92 loyale fwd 3 speed auto?

I have yet to pull the axles from the xt, and i would like to find out before i go through the trouble.

um.....would the XT have 25 spline DOJs? cause I know the loyale will have 23s.

Nope.
All the AT's are the same, turbo or not.

nope, the xt's have the 25. I went through the trouble of pulling them, and even had the loyale on the hoist and almost finished when i found the difference.

Yup, your right.
I went back and checked the manuals. The chart I looked at was for all EA82's except for the XT with AT. Of course it would be the oddball :rolleyes:
The MT's are 23 spline.
And that info is only available in the XT FSM.
