Some people have cars and some people go through some things that make their cars more like friends.

This is how my friend started out...

Bought it at auction for $1400.00 and drove it on the trailer.

Then to this...

Many rallycrosses and adventures later I have grown to trust this "car" with my life.

My daugther was driving in a rallycross. One bad corner with too much speed and time stopped as I watched her and her friend go over. The single scariest moment in my life. But, my friend kept her and her friend safe and uninjured. I have some other pics I will add as well to show how much these cars can actually handle.

I know how you feel. boy was it hard to watch my Chuxwagon leave, especially knowing that the guy that bought it crashed his last sooby into a fence post :-\

That's tough. At least everybody was okay. I've come to regard my rigs in much the same light...I trust my Legacy more than I trust most people.

wow, i remember seeing you and your sooby at many a ORG rally cross events. Its a sad day when a sooby dies. But at least it made the sacrifice and kept everyone safe and unharmed. What's the next project?

Man that sucks, but I'm glad your daughter and her friend are okay, cars are a whole lot easier to repair than people, and unlike people, they can be replaced. (looks like a lot of parts are still good too, so your next rally project might be cheaper!

many thoughts here, the kids are ok, the car looked really cool after all your work and even though it's gone now, it's been 'immortalized' in a magazine?
