My parents own a '97 Outback Wagon 5sp. A couple a weeks ago my sister "accidentally" ran the drivers side mirror into a chain link fence and broke it off(it was hanging from its wirers). Nobody in our town can get the mirror, so we called Emich Subaru in Tuscon(I live in south-east Arizona). Today, we get a call back from Emich and they say the mirror has been discontinued. Is this true?

You should be able to get one from wrecking yard, or nearly any body shop should be able to order you one, even if it is after market. Campbell/ Nelson savage # is 1-888-337-7757 they have lot's of Subaru part's and shipping is just a few day's

I have a 97 OB as well. Knock wood, I haven't caught the mirrors yet. Kinda cheap that they didn't make them of the folding variety. One has to be careful...

Hey... 1000th post! :smokin: Only 2.5 years to get there. :rollin:
