97-98 dodge van problem

Recommended Posts

update , brother-in-law, checked overflow tank and said it was bone dry, he states not to remove cap, because it states it in the manual, so i asked him again , did you start the van and check to see if it needed any more , his response was it's fine, my guess it needs more and possible leak some where, he does not believe in maintence at all ,

If that is the case, then he may just be low. Convince him to take the cap off and fill er up. He may be all right if he hasn't noticed anything in the cabin (steamed windows, sweet smell, ect). He should replace the radiator cap, he could be losing the fluid there. Just tell him it is the cheapest route to try first (but you know that). Good luck with your hard headed B I L.:)
