Hey this was on here before.

Car has check engine light on, code is for coolant temperature sensor.

I need the dealer or an aftermarket part number/brand and the location of the part please.

Thanks!

I just replaced mine. The part costed a little over $20. It took me about an hour to install.

Wells (that is the brand)
part number: SU4258

Autozone. It might take a day or two to get the part in.

I dont know if that link will work for you...but thats the part. The sensor is located on top of the engine...passengers side. It is under some tubes and whatnot...and was harder than hell to get to...but it wasn't to bad.

I have a 1995 Legacy L 2.2l.
