Guest baccaruda
NAPA apparently doesn't stock the oil pump for an EA82? grr. other good sources please? I'm assuming that the dealer is more expensive and I'd prefer to go to them as a last resort, or only for.. the timing belts.. best to get these from the dealer, yes? water pump.. I know there's 2 different styles. I bought the one NAPA had in stock and if it's wrong, i'll get the other one.. this one did not come with studs in the end for the pulley... the car has A/C, PS, all that good stuff. .. can we tell if it's the right one based on the lack of studs? LAST THING i promise. yeah, right got the intake manifold gaskets from the dealer. The guy at NAPA said they looked like they wouldn't use ANY sealant when I asked for a recommendation. What do you guys think? thanks a bunch..
Guest oregonloyale
http://www.importcarparts.com I sourced them out and for oil pump ,water pump, gaskets and timing belts w/shipping to oregon it came to $147. Super cheap and not cheap parts.
Guest calebz
this is for the turbowagon? Intake manifold gasket. It is recommended that you at least use sealant around the coolant port.. I personally use it all the way around. Blue RTV

Guest thesubarukid
Hey Andy, Did you try north Idaho import parts over here in Couer D' Alene? What about that subaru specialty shop in hayden off of highway 95? I'm sure that one of them would have the parts you need. If you need more info like phone numbers, e-mail me. Good luck,
Guest Flowmastered87GL
I use a VERY thin coat of black RTV all around the intake gaskets just to be safe, but not enough to glop everywhere.
Guest baccaruda
Hi guys. thanks for the replies. I found a couple sources for an oil pump but I have a reseal kit and I'll have a couple used oil pumps to choose from .. one with 120k on it, one with i don't know yet. I am planning to just reseal it but keeping my options open. Bought one of each WP from Napa and will return the unneeded one. Getting the timing belts from the dealer tomorrow. Called Subaru Stuff in hayden and he confirmed no sealant on the gaskets, just super clean mating surfaces. OK then! thanks all.
