I’ve read many posts about emissions issues in various states. None of them were from Washington State. Has anyone from Washington State made the transplant AND passed the states emission test? muffman Posted August 22, 2009 Share Posted August 22, 2009 In my 96 legacy they did a sniff test (and gas cap test), and in my wife's 98 accord they plugged into the obd-2 port. I don't know if that would tell them what motor you have or if their computer system would even know which motor your car was supposed to come with (2.2 v 2.5).
