northguy Posted January 29, 2004 Share Posted January 29, 2004 It says it will "except" [sic] chrome moldings. I assume they're talking about the chrome (plastic civered) zip strip to seal it. It could also mean that it has the pocket for the rigid chrome (real chrome) stiffeners that slide into narrow grooves before you rope the shield and gasket in. I would e-mail the seller and find out which style it is. I'd also ask if it is NOS or who the manufacturer is as I've had difficulty with knock-offs that don't fit well and you end up fighting it just to get it on the shield.
