As everyone knows, I've been whinning about my Forester getting smashed by a #$%^ tree.

I'm thinking on putting a spoiler over the section that got dented. What I need to know is if the spoiler actually covers the portion of the tail gate that got dented?

Dent pic

Will a spoiler cover this area?

It will be fixed professionally either way but I may choose to have just that area fixed rather than tearing down and repainting the whole hatch then reassembleing it thus saving me enough money to put a cool spoiler over a less extensive repair.

Glenn,
82 Hatch, well it used to be.....

Great pic,

Thats exactly what I was looking for. It ain't gonna completly cover the dent area.

But I think I'll put one on anyway.

Thanks,
Glenn

That's not as bad as it looked when you posted the pics with the tree still on top of it...

A JY hatch might be cheaper than fixing it. Especially if you can find someplace that'll take yours as a trade.

cookie has a pretty good suggestion, guess it depends on how professional you want it to be.

I'm sure the spoiler would do a good enough job of hiding the bondo..
