  1. Cause I can't find them there. I found that comparison page with the outside dimensions. You think that height difference is in suspension or trim? So you think that the sport suspension is just a different sway bay? thanks, -M
  2. My 2003 Forester uses a bit of mobil1 too. But where is it going? Out the pipe? It's not going down. -M
  3. My 2003 Forester seems a little dead suspension wise. I've done a lot of dirt road driving with a trailer or full passenger loads. It was super tight when new. Does anyone know of an upgrade? Something adjustable would be nice. Thanks, -M
  4. Looks to me like the only difference is the suspension. Outback says heavy duty raised. Impresa says sport tuned or something. Anybody know anything? I'm specifically concerned with the 2005 models. Thanks, -M
  5. So on a weekend road trip in the 2003 forester I noticed a strong antifreeze smell from the back end and found the coolant reservoir mostly empty. There was still plenty in the radiator. I filled it and proceeded home, but was wondering if this is a symptom of the head gasket problems some of you are having. Any thoughts? It's going in this week for a check at the dealer. Thanks, -M
  6. We do mostly highway driving in our 2003. I just tabulated the mileages over the first year. We are getting 26 to 28 MPG usually. I made an average of 29 mpg between Reno and Albuquerque. Mileage goes down to less than 25 mpg with the bikes on top. So get a reciever hitch. The dealer put in this 0w 20 oil on our comp oil change. I used mobil 1 5W 30 when I did it with no real change in mileage. -M
