  1. Hi Would you be able to post the link again please... searching for Tail Lights and Parking Lights
  2. I want to use the 5 lug as well ... I want to push in the Ej207 V7 Engine, Transmission, Rear Diff and 4 pot calipers into the Brat. The rear diff swap with the 2 pot calipers is what i need help on mainly. The custom fit is what i need guide lines on, fitting the entire rear cross member is what i do not even want to think about. Exactly! have been searching, getting no where...
  3. Need some help on rear diff conversion, most swaps have been done using the xt6 parts and I cant get a hold of any, is there another way to do the conversion? Currently I have STi V7 Engine, 6 Speed gearbox with dccd and rear diff, drive shafts and hubs.
  4. Hi, I own a Subaru Leone with a Wrx EJ20G Motor in it, Competition gear box, Z4 Ecu with a stage 3 chip in it, Rear Wheel Drive. I need help in wiring a Data Link Connector, OBD I or OBD II, I have no idea which wire goes where to the ECU. Can I get some help with this please? Thanks, Regards, Amk.
  5. I have made an adapter plate from mild steel, ill post up pics once I have finished all of them. Thanks.
  6. Hi, I own a 92 Leone it’s got 15” rims on, I would like to put the 17” rims. The problem is the 15” rims are 4 stud and the 17” 5 stud, can any modification be done without changing the hub and the rear drums? Thanks, Regards, Amk.
  7. I had a similar prob, took them for skimming and that solved the prob, may be you could try that out.
  8. Just a quick question, how would one convert AWD to Rear wheel any got pics which can help me out, got a Ej20G in me leone with a STi gearbox Thnks
  9. I got an Ej20G in my Leone, I was using the original gearbox of the Leone to run the car then it got messed. I went out got an STi competition gearbox 4:11 with flywheel, clutch plate, pressure plate and release bearing. The gearbox is 2nd hand so is the flywheel, clutch plate, pressure plate and release bearing. I removed the cable system of the old clutch and modified a hydraulic clutch system. I have connected the clutch master cylinder pipe directly to the gearbox, is the correct? The clutch is so hard, rock hard. The gears engage though but the clutch is very very hard can’t even balance. What is the problem? Where have I gone wrong? Need help. Thanks Regards, Amk.
  10. HI, I own a Subaru Leone saloon, has an EJ20G engine in it but using the stock Leone gearbox. My prob is the gear box is blown. I was using the rear diff throughout, my front drive shafts broke so I continued to use the rear diff, it’s a rear wheel drive now lol. I managed to get an STi competition gearbox, my prob is how do I change my rear diff with a WRX diff, the main prob is the drive shafts, help needed. Thanks, Regards, Amk.
  11. I need major major wiring help. I bought an engine ej20 single turbo, I have already fitted it in my Leone. The pics are at http://www.photobucket.com/amksti All that’s left is the wiring part, I can’t get the correct ECU I understand the engine I bought is an EJ20K, now I can’t find an ECU for this motor the guy who sold me the motor said the engine had its ECU later I found out the ECU he gave me was for a twin turbo legacy. I can’t find an EJ20k ECU What I can get is a U8 22611 AA810 and a W9 22611 AA810 these ECU models are 92 - 93 have 4 Yellow Sockets and I understand my motor is a 99, now can this 93 model ECU work in a 99 model EJ20K motor? I know there will be a power loss but I need something temporary then later I can change… In short 1)Can this work? 2)If there is power loss, how much in terms of hp, 3)Will the turbo work? 4)Which ECU out of the 2 should I go for? 5)Can I get the wiring diagrams plz? Thanks.
  12. I went out to look for the correct ECU, i found an engine exactly like mine using a V9 ECU, was told the ECU i was given was for a twin turbo, can i get the wiring diagram for the V9 type Ecu? and what is the normal ECU model used in these types of engines?
  13. Thanks i cut the crossmember it fitted in well. I have another major major prob the wiring. If you can check out the pics at http://www.photobucket.com/amksti and tell me if that’s the correct ECU for the engine I have and if not which is the correct ECU? How many sockets, model number? What color are the sockets? Can I get the wiring diagrams for it to? (The motor is an EJ20 single turbo that’s all I know, don’t know if it’s a EJ20G or EJ20K…)
  14. Lol ok ill look into that, getting parts here is not so easy and if you find what you’re looking for it’s going to be expensive. I managed to put in the motor and the gearbox only 1 prob, the motor doesn’t sit on the crossmember because of the turbo pipe so I need to cut the crossmember tomorrow. I find the space between the turbo pipe and the steering rack very limited do you think I’ll have to modify or it will fit in well?
  15. Well i dont have the EGT sensor, can i blank the hole? will it cause any probs, reason being it will be very hard for me to get the EGT sensor.
  16. Thanks for all your help, it’s a Carb’d EA82 so I bought a fuel pump to, which brings me to another question the engine has 2 inlets and 1 return fuel pipes right, if so then I suppose 1 inlet goes to the pump since the pump has only 1 port and the other return. Where does the other inlet pipe go? Hope I make sense hehe I got an ECU, Harness, Airflow and O2 Sensor, and then another question my exhaust system has 2 holes one for the 02 sensor and the other is? I’m using the stock EA82 Trans later on ill change to Ej Trans. I’m not using front wheel drive imp using rear wheel, meaning I removed the front drive shafts, actually they broke and can’t find originals so may be later I might replace them but I really enjoy the rear wheel much better grip. So basically the progress for today was that i went to the engineers to get the adapter plate done will get it by tomorrow, the intercooler ports were blocked i got them opened and the intercooler is from a twin turbo so i will have to modify the piping Anything else you think I should look into? Once again thanks for all your help.
  17. Im doing a swap to im worried bout the wiring part, how many sensors are there in an EJ20?
  18. Mentioned earlier on that I wanted to change my Ea82 to a turbo engine, so I went out and bought an Ej20 turbo, what do you think about it? The pics are uploaded on www.photobucket.com/amksti Roughly what’s the hp of this Ej20 engine and details like what year etc?
  19. Thanks a lot guys, really appreciate the help. I went out and bought an Ej20 turbo engine, I’ll start a new thread you can check out the pics there and help me out too. We drive right hand drive cars in Nbi.
  20. Sup, Need help, want to change my 91 Leone's Ea82 Engine to an Ej Single turbo or twin turbo Engine. I know the single turbo engine can go in, but will the twin turbo go in. Check the twin turbo pic plz. Thanks
  21. Thanks Guys what i was looking for so the pic posted above. Hmmm why do that does it increase cooling???
  22. Way back I came cross a thread that was about Ea-82 Radiators, if I’m not mistaken the radiators were mounted where the spare wheel lays I remember seeing pics of that searched for it didn’t come across it. And has anyone put n Ej radiator into n Ea engine? I would like to do that some guidance plz. Thnks.
  23. Im having probs with an Ea82 it doesnt hold start for more then 3 seconds, starts then switches off, the timming is ok, wat else could be the prob. I think the carburetor has the prob or the coil. Anyone got a solution to this?
  24. Yes and its worth checking the cables to, i had that prob, did the brake bleeding end of prob. (I think the prob is wit the drum brakes the linings)
  25. I would like to know if there is any connection between the brake and clutch it’s a 98 Subaru Impreza Wrx. When the car is in motion and one presses the brake then the clutch, the clutch goes free like its failed den it has to kind of get jerked to get the clutch back, anyone know what is causing this. Thanks.
