  1. I so wish Subaru NA would offer dual range trannys in their new products here! I'd be staying with the family when I replace my Legacy.
  2. I do, but I think I need to update my account. Do you want to PM me with details?
  3. Sounds good. Will the 99's work on my 94? How would I pay for shipping?
  4. I'll check the strut mounts as well as the tie-rod ends tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure it's the sway bar end links based on previous inspection. I would think that strut mounts would make noise going over all bumps and such in the road but it's not doing that. Thanks for all the tips guys.
  5. Thanks guys. I probably should have provided more information. I only need them for the front for my 1994 Legacy L awd 5-speed. Jamal, Not sure if it's broken, but the bushings on the end links appear to be coming out. Plus I'm having some knocking sounds from the front end (not cv clicking). I'm not really interested in performance parts, I just want to keep it running smooth til the end of the year. I found some for $38 that I think I'm going to order, unless the ones you have will fit and are offering them at a better price??? Thanks for the responses guys,
  6. Where is a good place to buy sway bar end links or replacement bushings? Dealer wants $53/each. Done a little searching and haven't come up with anything. Thanks,
  7. That's kind of what I figured. Is there a way to carry gas safely though? I just didn't know if the it was supposed to light up with all the other indicator lights on startup. Thanks for the tips. I guess I'll have to live with the anxiety. BTW, what kind of mileage do you guys get with a 50/50 mix of city and highway driving. I've gotten about 320 to 340, but on fill up I was only able to put in like 13 or 14 gallons. At that point I was on E for atleast 30 miles, but the light hadn't come on.
  8. I hope this isn't hijacking the thread, because it is related to this issue. I have a 94 Legacy L and I know the gauge is off. Most advise waiting for the gas light to come on in order to fill up. Others have comented on their gas light not working. How do I know if my gas light works. I have not seen it light up when all the other lights come on during startup nor have I tested it by running my gas that low....is it supposed to? Is there a way to test the light? I usually will fill up when the gauge is on E and I've driven about 30-40 miles past. I get too nervous after that and just have to stop and fill up. I drive about 80 miles roundtrip to school and it all backroads with little to nothing but farm houses in between. I'm a little paranoid of running out of gas out there, not for fear of anything, just for the fact of walking to get help and being late for work or school.
  9. Sorry, I was thinking the older stuff. I'd still have a shop do it, or atleast talk with one before cranking open the nob.
  10. I think there'd be atleast 16' to 18' still hanging out the back if he tried to put it in the car.
  11. Well, you could do that...but that is environmentally irresponsible. It's actually is illegal in most places. I would suggest taking it to a shop, they hook up recovery equipment to suck it all out. Shouldn't cost very much just to have it dishcarged. I worked in the HVAC business for a while...atleast commercially there are very large fines for dishcarging freon in to the atmosphere (air).
  12. Thanks for the responses guys. Looking for opinion on size...how does a 16 compare to 15 in both looks and performance? I may do an autocross or two or possibly rallycross, but won't be there competing to win. I will be doing a lot of hwy and backroad driving.
  13. Hey guys...I'm back. Well, actually I used to post mainly on the old gen forum, but when my ea81 crapped out on me, I kind of lost interest. However....next week I'm picking up a 94 Legacy L sedan. It needs wheels in a bad way...so I'm looking for info on what factory wheels fit and also the size of 15's or 16's to get in aftermarket. I'm not looking for anything too aggressive. I don't want larger than 16's. I'm considereing Rota's, but what are some relatively inexpensive brands you all are using? Where have you guys bought wheels before? Know anygood websites?
  14. He's got a website so you might check there... http://www.packracingproducts.com/
  15. mmmmmmmmmmmm...Garage envy! I guess I should complain, I do have a garage. It was a 2-car but I added an 8X12 room in the back corner off the door into the house. So now I have a one car with additional space up front. Of course it's cluttered up but I can still park one car in there.
