Yup , was good to see the Subafreak , and to have him wrench and whatnot for me was a nice deal too. Back is sore. Minimal parts out for the rest of the world , but Jesse should be smiling. "Rust" got a nice item too , thanks Jesse for the delivery. Jesse - I'm going to get all new mounts all around to start with. Going to take the whole deal out again and put my old tranny back in with fresh seals. I'll have to talk to you about that since I saw how well you did your own tranny work. The World - Storage is going to have to be a pick - post - and ship deal , one item or so at a time. Its summer , getting too hot for me. And my back isn't getting any younger.

Hey !!!!! Cafiene and Carburetors down in New Canaan this Sunday. Go there !!!!! Go early , and meet me with my '78 ! Don't try to enter the main line up with the big toys - unless they direct you to - but instead drive up to first flagger and pull into a lot on either side of the road. As posted in the thread we had running to tally up payments , and which has all info needed , we have the first of the split payments into the supplier. They have placed the order with the mfg'er , and we should see them around 3 months from now or possibly a little sooner. No offense , but please understand everybody - We've done this already !!! Your money is safe. Please try to keep me from taking any more time than I really need to on this. Please read the posts - not so much this one but the one we had running along with the Payment info ,etc. All should be explained there including the expected delivery time which was 90-120 days from when the order was placed to Thailand where they are made. From here on out if I don't reply it means you need to read more. Cheers !

79 begins electronic distributor for the other 49 States. I've got factory service manuals if you need any. Been a lot of them cheap on eBay lately. Axles also sort of change but you need not worry. You body style is called "stage 2" which ran from mid-77 thru 79. Enjoy!

Be careful to match the slug on the interior end of the cable. Some aftermarket throttle cable will make you pound the ground with wrong sized slugs that won't fit right on the back of the pedal.

I used a Thule 1050 series low style and had no problems as a windsurfer.

Any pics? Mostly looking for tiny stuff like the plastic push in retainers for the inner panels - including the rear hatch inner panel and those push pin type retainers. How's the door seals and outer weatherstripping on the doors?

If you put a lift kit in and want humongous wheels under it. Otherwise , pay no attention if you're just road going and don't off road heavily.

Thanks everybody. The order has officially been placed by our sales rep to the mfg. in Thailand. Should be around 90-120 days for turn around. They will contact me for the final payment when the gaskets are on their way. Meanwhile , somebody sent a check with no board name on it. If you sent a check to me within the last 2 weeks please let me know. There was only one I think , so don't think "it might have been some other guy". Meanwhile I'll see if I can somehow get that puzzle solved with whatever info is there. Was too busy then ... Cheers!
