  1. I currenlty drive, 2004 OTB 2.5L, 4Cyl. 40,000KM with ORG All Season Tires 225/60R/16. My fried has offered me Slightly Used Snow Tires 225/55R/16. I was thinking of getting used Rims and putting these on. Dealer said, it’s not recommended; it’s not the safest thing to do. Can someone shed some light on this? Thanks, GSP
  2. OTB 2004 4Cly 2.5L Same is happening on my Passenger side , dirver side heats up OK, but passenger just not getting any heat. Subaru had a look and found nothing wrong. I was not happy with this dealership. On my next oil change I will be at another dealership, will ask again. How do you like your OTB 2004 so far? any issue's? dose your idel go below 750, down to 650 or so, while your foot on barke at Red Light? Check your RAD Cap, had mine replaced, seal was defective. At high Temp/Pressure, Rad Fluid mist, would come out. No big deal, all is well. good day, gsp
  3. First let me say "thank you" to all of you for taking the time and effort on this matter. I am in Richmond Hill, Ontario. I found a shop "Crown" for $110.00 + Tax. Probably have it done this month. And yes will be keeping this car for a long time. good day, gsp
  4. When you open the hood, just below the windshield their is a small square device with RED Light ON, cables going to ground and elsewhere. I am certain it’s Rust Proofing device, Dealer assured me. gsp
  5. I recently installed Block Heater on my 2004 Outback 4Cly. Subaru has an $89.99 fall special. I put a timer on it, and its working great. I reside in Richmond Hill, ON. So it gets realy cold out here. good day, gsp
  6. Recently I bought 2004 Outback Ltd. 2.5L, 4cly. Very happy so far. Noticed I have Electrical Device for Rust Proofing. This device was bought by original owner during purchase. I here this device is no good, and that I should go and get the car sprayed. Can any one shed some light on this matter? thanks, gsp:confused:

  8. I called Subaru Tech, they said its normal, nothing to worry about. He Suggested next oil change I have mechanic look at it. I have not seen this in any other car I have driven. I am not so sure its nothing? Anyone with 2004 Outback 2.5L, 4 Cyl engine, if you can please let me know if your car is performing in same manner. That would be great. good day, gsp
  9. Idle question ? I recently bought 2004 Outback ltd. 2.5L, 4Cyl, Auto. Very happy so far, but noticed that, when at a red light, foot on the Brake, ideal dips below 750rpm (A/C is off). As soon as I remove my foot from the brake or put car into Neutral, Idle goes back to 750. Is this normal ? Thanks, gsp4
