  1. as a side note the when you plug the aft most hose the other too must have to do some more work... the thing just bubbles and gurgles now ... hasn't overr flowed yet but kinda makes me nervous..... fun fun fun dan
  2. cool thanks, it looks like it will be easiest to put one in the same spot so that is what i am gonna run with!! thanks again dan
  3. It's metal... sooo JB weld it is then.... oh hell should be fun...... any other folks out there that want to chime in on what that thing is back there??? thanks dan
  4. Maybe i need to be a little more clear, i broke the fitting off the gas tank. I plugged the hole with a 10/32nds screw wraped in teflon tape. Can i just plug the the other 2 lines and remove the bottle thing in the back of the car? or do i need to do something else? thanks dan
  5. Sooo... need a little help here... 92 loyale 4wd automatic. behind the right rear wheelwell under the plastic cladding inside the car there is a fuel system evap thing... 3 hoses go into it the mice chewed through the aft most hose... now my car has gas smell . so I attempted to replace the hoses (all of them) the aft most one goes to the gas tank.. except when i tryied to remove the hose i snapped off the fitting.... i plugged it for now... my question is ... can i remove this whole contraption with no ill efect?? or do i need it and have to somehow attach a new fitting to my gas tank. thanks dan
  6. ordered online today from Parts America... picked up at my local Advance auto parts.... looks like it will be an easy fix!!!!! thanks dan
  7. Hey Frank B!!!! thanks!!!!! i would have been afraid to jump to 95 psi.... but if it worked cool!!! i'll be ordering a new pump today!!! thanks dan
  8. soooo... no one has done this??? just thougt i'd ask.... hmmm i guess i'll be the pioneer.... crap.... thanks dan
  9. so the little rubber diaphram on the end of my fuel pump is spitting ... anyone find a cheeper alterative... Advance auto quoted me $179 and the subaru steelership said $299 for a new pump... but i looks like a simple 2 wire hookup and i just need to find a pump with the propper psi... anyone already done this????? the car is a 1992 subaru loyale ea82 with a 3 speed automatic and pushbutton 4wd.... ~119,*** miles.. thanks dan
  10. no.... it is basicly really sluggish and no power at anything below 2600 rpm... i can't complain i got the car for $200 out of pocket... i pretty much shift it like a manual to keep the rpm's up. it is a 92 loyal 4wd about 118,000 miles on it... it also has the low oil pressure after warm up issue, once it is hot the oil pressure at idle is maybe 10psi... next oil change i'll switch to castrol 20w50... thanks dan

  13. yeah mine does the same thing.... i unplugged the TPS and had no effect on the drive or bogg.... i am thinking it is totaly dead .... i did learn that it is a bugger to remove the TPS ... i ended up pulling the throttle body off just to pull the sensor... i took it apart to try and clean the inside, it didn't have any effect. anyone have a used TPS that works??? for cheep?? dan
  14. umm yeah...cheeter bar.... = lots and lots of pain.... i broke a 1" drive breaker bar using a cheeter bar... landed 15 feet away.... decided it was time for a lunch break after that.... suppose a smalll one on a car bolt isn't a bad idea tho... good luck.... dan
