  1. You must be kidding, a 3:90 LSD rearend for a Subaru???? That would be SOOO Awesome!!!!! I'm thinking maybe I could keep a look out on Ebay or something!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . PS. Generally I don't give noobs a bad time, but this is just your turn. Please don't take this personally, I'm just messing with you. Try a search and you'll find a tonne of stuff on them and how to do the conversion. Later, and welcome, really I mean that . Tim
  2. If you want the adjustable ones, you'll need to go to the dealership. There are alot of Left hand ones but no Right handed ones in the states. I had a set on order from Japan before my dealership went under. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but if you have a dealer that is willing to do the work they can be had for around $90 each. Tim
  3. Almost all the guys (and a few gals) who wheel their Ru's have CB's. I have one in each of our off roaders. Sorry, no pics handy but if you really needed a couple I could get some for you, it's just not that spectaculare of a mount job . Tim
  4. Hey how's it going??? We meet at the midwest III. Sorry, not up for a meet quite yet though!!! Later, Tim
  5. Just seems to be something missing........... Oh yeah, holes and the rust that makes them!!! Very nice:slobber: Tim
  6. A picture speaks a thousand words........... Poor guy had his whole family with him. What was he thinking taking a Jeep into "Gnome's Hole"
  7. Howdy. Your EA81T does not have the imfamous MM gasket. I'd start with running some Marvel Mystery Oil through it for a couple of oil changes. Welcome, Tim
  8. Never mind, the idiot at Advance Auto put me into panick mode. When I asked if there was a different adaptor kit he told that he didn't think so and that I should try at Ace or Menards in the plumbing section:confused: . The kid at Sturdevan's actually took the time to look and see and low and behold, a couple of different kits:D . Well temp guage is in and working. Tim
  9. I bought a Sunpro Temp Guage and it appears that the adaptors used to install it are all wrong. One is too small, the other two are too big. The one that is actually on the lead is the right size, but it requires an adaptor to hold thye prob in place. Any one find an adaptor or the correct install kit for an after market temp guage????? Thanks, Tim
  10. Why the big secret:confused: Help a few brothers out:D Tim
  11. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=31721&highlight=stud Oh Yeah, I have them on an EA 81 and 82 car. Tim
  12. I beat you all to it, I posted last night right after I saw it........ In off topic:brow:
  13. 28/8.5/14 TSL. Awesome!!!! I'm on my second set. Kinda tough on the EA81, but she can still go. Puts the speedo 20% off. Here's a little taste.......
  14. After looking at new lifters, those prices are hard to believe:eek:
  15. I just went to look and there gone, what a bummer. I got all reved up to see some footage a bam!! No go. Tim
  16. The Leg LSD is a Vicous (sp?) LSD and I believe 3.9 (mine was any ways) It will bolt right in. Great on snowy/icy roads, not so great for off road. PS, I just noticed where you are located. You'd have to check the ratios to be sure they're the same. Tim
  17. Sorry Jim, not that easy. You need to change the rails AND build a bracket to bring the rails inboard a little. Tim
  18. That's one way to get rid of that pesky rust on the rear wheel wells...... . Tough looking rig!!!!
  19. Easy there speedy........ Just pull a fuel line in the engine compartment and attach the guage. Two people is best, one to crank and one to watch. If that's not possible then pull a line close enough to the wind screen to be able to read it when your starting it up. Later, Tim
  20. This is just a link to our USMB photo gallery. There are two folders with the lifted Roos. Enjoy, Timhttp://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=13
  21. This should be easy:rolleyes: . Does my 97 Outback with a 2.5 share the same oil filter as my 05 2.5RS????? Thanks, Tim
  22. mine all do it. I put Carter fuel pumps on both DRTYGRL and RUZILLA, now thats a pump you can hear. I used the original wiring for DRTYGRL and it is very obviously going up and down with the turn signal. RUZILLA's started out on the original circuit and it would warble too. I put RUZILLA's on a relay to the battery and there is no veriance with it. Unless you are having a problem with it ie dieing, no fuel etc. leave it be. Tim
  23. Imitation is the highest form of flatery. If you like it, do it!!! Later, Tim
