  1. Alright, i figured it out. Just for the record, in case anybody else might be curious down the road. To take out the radio, first: Remove the Cup holder by opening it, then pressing down on the button on the top of it in between both the holes and pulling the hole unit out. Then remove both the larger screws on each side. Open the center console and remove the two screws holding the casing for the e-brake. Then simply pull up and remove the cover. Once the ebrake cover is removed you can then remove the cover for the shifter, but first place the shifter in the lowest position. Finally, remove the ash tray and remove the two screws that are fastened above it, allowing you to pull out the plastic molding around the radio. There are six screws holding the radio in place, one in each of the four corners, and one more on each side of the radio that are fastened farther back into the dash. They're easily noticable with a flashlight. AFter all six screws are out, the radio housing slides right on out.
  2. Thanks for your response, but what about the cup holder? When i remove the cup holder, there is a metal casing that is still there, held in by the same screws the hold in the plastic molding for the dash. When i remove the screws, the metal casing doesn't budge, and since it doesn't move i can't pull off the top end of the plastic.
  3. I was curious if anybody knew how to remove the dash for the 95 legacy? I looked in a haynes manual and all it said was to remove the two screws behind the cup holder and the two screwed above the ash tray. I do this, however, it refuses to move off. The cup holder has a metal casing around it that is laying on top of the plastic hinge attached to the dash, so when i remove those screws the dash is still held in place by this weird metal casing. What am i missing here? Any information would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. abhay
