  1. Hmm...how about a 1025 cfm Demon? Hee hee:headbang:
  2. Fo' sho'. Spalding will kill 'ya. For intance... 1992 Subaru Legacy hood... Spalding price: $127 Pull 'n' Save price: $27 Exactly $100 difference, if I recall correctly. That's horrid.
  3. The scene ends with a shot somewhat like my avatar... (That was the day after I got my driver's license...mom's Loyale...bad scene...) /\ Just found this smilie. I love it.
  4. Woo hoo! Another Spokanite! Did you call up the local yards?
  5. The turbo needs high RPMs to spool. That engine ain't got no torque at low RPMs. Especially with those gargatuan tires. That don't help the crawl ratio.
  6. skishop69, you'd better document this with a ton of pics!
  7. Whoa, what? More info, please.
  8. Most newer cars seem to do it. My '89 240SX cuts off at about 20 minutes. My mom's '05 Sentra is at about 15. My '81 hatch, '82 wagon, and '93 Loyale never turn off.
  9. Word to that wagon. Remove about 13 square feet of fender, lift it another half a foot and get you a transfer case or two. Then you will have the best Sube in existance. (Oh, and do something about those axles...)

I almost flipped when I first saw that...
  11. That's what it sounds like to me. It's the right age for it, too.
  12. Same here. I honestly thought I wouldn't live through that. It was on a dirt road, about 70 MPH at dusk. Scariest experience of my life.
  13. Mmm, yes... Okay. I'll deem "all y'all" acceptable. It is frequently used in the vocabulary of southerners (including myself). (Dang my Texas roots!)
  14. And the eyes of a moose don't reflect light the same way a deer's eyes do...you don't see their shiny, beady little eyes until it's too late. (Oh yeah, and you think deer are scary to hit in cars...two summers ago, I almost blasted a deer on my YZ-250 at ~70 MPH...that'll make you crap yourself, let me tell ya...)
  15. Much like moose, the plural of the lexeme y'all is the same as the singular form. The word y'all, however, is generally accepted as connotating the bespeaking of multiple entities. Subsequently, the short answer to your query would be this: Y'all doesn't have a plural. It is a plural. However, although the definition would imply the pontification of more than one party (the locution being simply a contraction of "you" and "all") the multifarious nature of the expression allows it to be cunstrued in any way the user desires.
  16. Glad to have another Suba-natic on the board! Welcome! Oh, and it's y'all, not ya'll. (I'm from the South. I have the authority to do that.)
  17. Yeah...I wish there were one girl and three identical cars... (And the fantasies begin to run wild...)
  18. You're right. That doesn't make sense. So I confirmed the story...it was an '89 (first production year for the B-Series). The miles were 1.7 million. Which, now that I think about it, still sounds suspect (at 274 miles per day)...but anyway, thanks for bringing that out to me. I guess I didn't think about that.
  19. Huh...So it's a '90-'94...EA82 coupe/RX...with a turbo... SWEET!
