  1. how was the lift done? if it was just cranking up the tortion bars then what you are hearing and feeling is the suspension hitting its uppermost point of travel. not sure what this does over time but i think thats it .

  3. its cold in portland...the heat in our 88 gl-10 wagon isnt very hot the thermo is new and the cooling system checks out fine. Could it be the heater control valve not opening fully or should I stick a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator??? Thanks.

  5. nice hatch!! I put a set of those wheels on my '88 gl wagon they are one of my favorite styles.
  6. I don't know- grabbed both front axles and shook them pretty good ,the boots look brand new-it happened when we were on I-5 after 10 min of 55-60 mph.when i let off the pedal it went away.mabye the inboard joint is getting hot or somthing.
  7. hi all i have an 88 gl wagon and the motor shakes at freeway speeds 55-65 after about 10 min.if i pull over for a few minutes it stops.anyone have any ideas? thanks to the sube masters
  8. hello all, new to the subaru world. just bought an 88 gl wagon i see coolant on top of the motor and it overheats any ideas??? it also has a pretty good growl from the front end.it only cost me 300 for the car and really excited to fix and start driving it.many thanks to the helpful people here. and it looke like i will have to change my screen name:headbang:
  9. I was doing a headgasket on one of my volvos and was removing the head bolts-I snaped off 5 before I realized I was turning them the wrong way!!! completly ruined the head and payed mechanic 800.00 to clean up mess-what a dumba$$.
