  1. Thanks guys, I'll give it a try tomorrow. Next time I'll give the the search a try too.
  2. I have a 2007 Impreza 2.5i. I watch to disable the seatbelt warning alarm. My brother was able to disable the one in his 2008 F150 with information from the owners manual by buckling and unbuckling in a certain pattern. I checked my manual and there's no info. Does anyone know of a simple way to do this. Thanks
  3. I guess I should have mentioned that it is an Impreza. Thanks for the info. though, it was very helpful.
  4. Does anyone know what the bolt pattern and offset are for my car? I'm looking to pick up some cheap snow wheels (and tires if anyone has a set) but I need to know those two things. Also, does anyone know if I can drop down to a 15" wheel and still clear the brakes?
  5. I jus bought an '07 Impreza 2.5I. In the manual it says only use chains on the front. Personally I would never use them anyways, but that is what Subaru says.
  6. There is no need to remove the brakes at all to replace the axles. I talked to a good mechanic friend of mine before I changed the axles on my 92 loyale. All you do is knock the pin out on the top end. Then remove the size 14mm bolt on the botton of the lower suspension arm (it runs paralel with the car). Pry the lower arm down until it is free. Then just knock the axle out with a descent sized hammer (free the top side of the axle before the beating, of course). Install basically in the reverse, just hit the center of the hub, not too much in the same spot, and don't get to crazy with it. When you have enoungh threads just suck it the rest of the way through by tightening the nut. The first side took me two hour and three phone calls to my buddy. Once I figured it out the second side took me 20 minutes. And there was no removing the brakes. Just the one suspension bolt. I'm no expert and this was my first set of axles, but it was much easier than the way the Hanes manual described the process.
  7. Thanks. That was kinda what I figured but I wanted to make sure before I needed it and have it not be right.
  8. I just got a 92 loyale 4x4 a few months ago. I have tried the 4wd a couple times in gravel areas. It does fine in a straight line, but when I turn sharp at least one tire in the rear seems to be slipping. To me it feels like it has a locked dif but the rest of the car was completely stock when I got it so I doubt any sort of locking/welding went on. The tires are brand new and matching so tire size isn't the problem. Any help would be appreciated.
  9. Thanks for the help. I was skeptical myself. I'll just have to find a set of pug wheels.
  10. I didn't mean use the tires. I just meant using the wheels to give me more tire options.
  11. I want larger wheels and I noticed that the spare tire for my 92 loyale is 15". Are these wheels as strong as a regular wheel? Can they be used for normal use? I know I would have to junk yard a little bit, but I think it would be worth it.
  12. I have a 92 Loyale 4x4. I wanna know if I can put 27/8.5/14 tires on without rubbing. I will probably get some peugeot wheels. Please let me know with any insight. Thanks.
  13. I have a 92 Loyale 4x4. Will a 27/8.5/14 tire fit without rubbing? Also does anyone know a good place to find the peugeot wheels? I've tried to find them on ebay with no luck. Please let me know.
  14. I have one of these cars. I like the looks of your. What have you done as far as suspension tires and wheels?
  15. I'm from Hood River there are a lot more places that have great roads. I'll keep watching this thread, let me know if you want directions or anything.
