  1. Cheers for the positive comments, Yep it's mated to a Beetle transaxle with an adaptor plate etc. One of the main reasons the stock air filter was left with the subaru badge on it, was to let people know what it is, I got fed up with people saying it was VW. Although i am now looking at getting the weber conversion with filter, so will then look at having the subaru logo painted on each side of the tank. Cheers Dom.
  2. Here's a couple of pic's of my EA81 engined Trike.
  3. Great pics TomRhere to see what needs to be done, although some are a bit small for me to read. You mention that the adaptor plates are'nt that good, something that seems to be echoed throughout a few posts. Are there any better ones available ? Cheers Dom.
  4. Cheers for that Loyale 2.7 Turbo, I will give them a call when get a chance & get a price on the adaptor plate, as i already have the carb & filter etc.
  5. Hi, a couple of questions from a newbie. 1) Where are the best places to get an adaptor plate & gaskets for a 32/36 weber to EA81 or EA82 manifold. As i'm in the UK & there is'nt anything available over here i would have to have it shipped. 2) I've read on various posts that the EA82 inlet manifold is better than the EA81 one, is it worth changing or does it not make that much difference ( i have one in my shed).
