  1. I ran the General Grabber AT2s in a 205/75/15 with the outback struts and springs. Now it deffinately needs more lift. Will get some pics up when I get a chance.
  2. You can deffinately go straight down the drivers side rear of the intake manifold with a long extension and a 12mm socket
  3. Neo, I am thinking about going out when you guys go again. I should have it all lifted by the beginning of next week. Where is the Barrens? Either way I would be trailering it there due to it being the first time on the trail with it. I will probably just talk to you when you come out for the struts.
  4. Sounds like the NSS. It is located on the pass side of the trans held in with 3 8mm bolts. Pretty easy fix and they fit most suby apllications for close model years you I am sure you can grab one at your local yard or I have some. If you need one email me at rich@getusedsubaru.com
  5. I second that. They will deff work. You are goind to have to run 96 plug wire though with the square boots, and get the valve cover gaskets for the 96 heads as well. You will see the difference in the spark plug tubes. But a plus is you gain the cool 16V DOHC valve covers that you really cant see anyway
  6. Is that the jackstand lift setup
  7. good luck on locating the surrounds for those fogs. if you come up with anything let me know because I know like 5 people looking for them.
  8. I am deff gonna do a 95-99. I just don't think I want to go through the hassle of tryin to mod everything to make it work. I am just prob gonna take some wheel base measurements for other vehicles and figure out what chassis would work best, as far as a pick up or SUV
  9. Can anyone help me?....I have been tryin to find disgusting 95-99 legacy lift pics. Possibly even the body transplanted onto another frame. I know there was one floating around of a leg on a rover chassis. Tryin to show a guy at work but havin no luck. I want to do a lifted OB but dont think I want to go through all the processes of using the OB drive train....maybe throw it onto another frame.
  10. Check the shift lock box. I beleive on my old 93 it was on the left side of the radio when you pull the bezel. Little black box that says shift lock actuator.
  11. Just put it at TDC before you pull it apart and you have nothing to worry about. All of the pistons are retracted so if you spin the cams absolutely nothing will happen.
  12. Most likely that is going to be the scenario. I beleive in 99 they switched to the hydro clutch? So if that is the case you don't have any adjustment to play with.
  13. At TDC on a dual cam both the intake and exhaust are sitting close to the top of a cam lobe so they are going to be the ones that will want to snap away at TDC. The pass side will turn back and forth freely at TDC.
  14. I recently found a new favorite at wal-mart of all places, michelin wiper blades. They are only like 6 bucks a peice and I put them on all my cars now and get no streaks and decent life. Used to run Bosch.
