  1. Hey there!

Looking for MAF sensor today for my 96 2.2 outback, if happen to have one, et me know asap.

    Thanx

  2. My buddy just sent me this pic. I really dig the paint job. http://home.comcast.net/~kecksnext/pics/americanbrat.jpg
  3. Running piano wire around the window always worked for me. Use it like a saw....1 person on the inside 1 on the outside.
  4. You might want to find out exactly what's wrong with the air suspension. You may be able to fix it quite easily or you may not. There is a lot of great info here and on the xt6.org site about the air ride. I actually love the air ride and a lot of others prefer to swap it out. Either way whatever you choose there's tons of info on here and the xt6 site about both. Let me know if I can help.
  5. It reminds me of that Chips episode where there's this 2 headed limo driving down the PCH and some guy changes lanes and thinks it comin' right for him and he wrecks it. It was the mysterious case of the driver going the wrong way. I remember Ponch had to do some re-enactment stuff. Does this make me old?
  6. Well, the plan is this. I'm taking Friday and Monday off to see what's what. I'll know by Saturday if I'm parting out or fixing up. I'm pretty sure everything motor wise is fine as I remember turning the car off while I was standing on my head. I'm going to concentrate on checking the frame and body before I make my decision. Thanks to everyone for their concern.
  7. Yeah, I figure a little WD-40 some duct tape and everything will be good as new. The pisser is... after all the trouble I've had fixing the air suspension the damn thing is still standing tall. Whoda known. Anyone have an XT6 for sale?
  8. Driving just a hair over the limit. All the snow we had Friday melted the same day. I was cruising on some back roads and there was a spot where a farmer would cross the road to access his other field. Needless to say this was the only spot that had runoff, the roads were dry all day and by the time I got there it was frozen. DOH!! Lost it immediately. I wanna cry.
  9. Anyone know a good body man? XT6 1 XT6 2 XT6 3 I don't think I'm gonna make the meet
  10. I guess it would depend on driving terrain. I drive mine in the woods a lot so there are a lot of hills. In which case I aim mine a little high so I can see up further(no surprises). Either way I like to see out as far as possible.
  11. I'm still up for the yard run. The more nice weekends we get the more I get the itch. Harry's U-Pull it (and you might go blind)
  12. It's true. Steve and Skip are briliant at this stuff. Don't be discouraged I just got mine up for $15.90. Bad compressor. Does the compressor come on and not inflate the system? Does it inflate sometimes and not others? Does the whole system fail or just certain struts? There is also a wealth of info about the air ride at XT6 Forum . Let me know if I can help.
  13. I'm from Pennsyltuckey. Also, hit the Jersey shore a couple times in the summer.
  14. The light does come on after 10 or 15 minutes. The last time this happened I thought it was related to the cold temperature but it was 45 today.I also found tape residue on the sides of the warning light. The previous owner had placed tape over the warning light at some point(not exactly the fix I'm after).
  15. I've searched a lot about this air ride susp. on this board, yahoo's and XT6's site but haven't found anything for why the compressor won't start. This also happened the day I bought it. Let it sit for 2 1\2 days and it fixed itself. One other time, I had the suspension fail on the way to work only to start it at the end of the day and it was fine. This is really cornfusing me. It was my understanding that a compressor will let you know when it is going to fail i.e. make some pretty nasty sounds. I apologize to everyone if this seems like repost. I did come across a thread where skip had helped someone get their compressor running but they did it via email not on the board. Any help or insight is always appreciated.
