  1. I have a 95 legacy AWD with manual tranny. I am getting a nasty clunking sound coming from the rear of the car when i start off in first, and the car has no torque down low. I had it into a shop and they said the complete driveshaft needs to be replaced in the front and rear. The mechanic showed me how the driveshaft could be wiggled by hand and that was his reasoning that the whole thing needed to be replaced. I was talking to a guy i know about it and he said it could just be the U joints. Whats your guys opinion on this? Also there is a ticking noise when the car is in neutral and the clutch is up. When i press in on the clutch the ticking goes away. It seems to be less apparent once the car is heated up. What could this be? TIA
  2. Oh sorry about that. Never read the years this forum applies to, i just assumed that 95 would be older generation.
