  1. Hey, a picture would be great. Mine needs the same done.....my nose is way too, low.
  2. This is the stuff I use. Not as cheap as it used to be. I put it on the driving lights, headlights and fog lights. Works great. The company I used to get it from only sells it inthe 100 foot roll, now. So, I hope this stuff works as well. http://www.envision-graphix.com/PRODUCTS/Lamin-X/Lamin-X.htm
  3. I am planning on getting a stock K & N filter, and was wondering about sticking some holes in the air cleaner cover, and then maybe a small hood scoop. Have any of you ever done this and or have a opinion? Not really interested in putting on a weber. My goal is a a little better preformance. On the 86 EA82 Wagon...4x4...."old speed"
  4. Custom bumpers... Roof racks... and I will second the high colsole/center armrest.
  5. Over his father's dead body.. ..It is parked in my yard after all... ..It is a nice little car and would make a good daily driver. ...Since the rest of what he has is tweeked, I have advised him to hang on to it, something dependable to drive in the rain.....but what do I know.....I am only the DAD:rolleyes: .
  6. Welcome, Only one Subaru, how is that possible.......
  7. Yes, you may very well be right. But it would have been a progessive, problem. So getting the right horse shoe (lift bracket) should take care of the preload. It did not start out doing it when I kicked the tire. It has been getting worse over time, started with a little noise, and now a whole lot, resulting in, now when I kick the tire it does it, did not make that noise before. So, with the correct bracket, I will be able to replace the shock/struts and that should take care of it, the later part of the racket.
  8. RainbowRoo (William), If your rear horseshoes look like this (side view): | | . \ . . \ Okay, this is the one I have. I will pm.....
  9. It is more of a metalic squeek...sounds like it is coming from the body. I have check the torque, on the bolts since installation. And if you kick the side of the tire, it will cause it too, squeek too. During install, I took loose the bottom of the shock/strut. And it was preloaded out about 4 inches. And yes, this is a PK lift. 3 in. It is just annoying as all get out..... I want to get new springs and struts in the rear, but not till I know what it making this noise.
  10. The rear shocks/stuts on my wagon make a heck of a squieking noise with the lift kit on? Even going driving on pavement. :-\ Anybody else have this problem and a fix???????
  11. Both of my XT's have the telescoping wheel, so they will not fit on a 86 GL Wagon???.
  12. I have the stock, in the wagon now (what I would call a "A") and want to put the XT "parts car" (upside down "L" shape) one on the it. Not that there would be a color match, but as you can see I would not be worring about that. I have blue seats in the thing, for gooness sake. Thanks.
