  1. Is your buddy still interested in my rig, I fixed the pump and drove it around. I will be back around this weekend if he wants to take another look.

  2. Very interested in your subaru, if you still have it by next weekend I have cash in hand. Let me know what a good time to call is? I will give you a shout later today or tomorrow. Thanks, Mike - 604-430-6651

  3. Makes sense with the link, it is funny were it takes you. I thought you had something in the write up, i have a xt6 bracket(doesn't work) is the xt trany bracket different?
  4. I would like to look in to making a kit were i can get more than 8inches of travel. what the kit might take. 1.Use blocks to lower the sub frame 2.Instead of using blocks for the struts, replace strut with coil springs and shock. Other ideas might include lenthing the control rods to place the hubs outside the car. Welding in a sub frame then use a four link style suspension, to put in solid axles and a t-case.
  5. I'm not a expert but there should be no problems. I run a auto ecu in my swap. No matter what ecu you have the wires going to the trany gets cut.
  6. Nice, So far i have broken main drive shaft brearing, Both motor mounts, Four CV boots in the back, and one in the front, bent the control arm in the rear.
  7. I been running the same. but i broke both motor mounts 4wheeling. i think the pitch stop will help when going over rocks. Why have a link there if it doesn't work?
  8. These questions deal with the pitch arm. The bracket that is used on the trany side needs to come out of the XT, not a XT6? What pitch arm is used when you have 4 inch lift on your ej swap? Anyone else have trouble with the link for the ej swap write up?
  9. I have some ideas in changing the way subi's get lifted. I'm very intrested in what this might take.
  10. Do we have another best in show at WCSS. Camp Take Over
  11. Hurry and get with the Brat so you can come out to browns camp with me:banana::banana: Super stoked on the the hatch
  12. Didn't take my camera. Will get photos from my buddy hopefuly soon. This camping trip was a almost complete loss. Shotgun creek is no good. There is only one trail that is open to class 2 atv's. After competing the trail we drove up to the ohv area by hoodoo. Bad choice, still snowed in. With time gettin late and not set up for campin in the snow we headed west to detroit lake to camp for the night. In the morning we drove to browns camp. This was the best idea all weekend. Like always browns camp was great. Got the gl stuck twice, once almost roled over, and high centered the other time. After browns camp and getting home we clocked over 600 miles worth of driving from place to place on counting all the offroading that we did in browns camp.
  13. What: Memorial day weekend camp'n and wheel'n Where: Shotgun OHV area Oregon When: Saturday and Sunday The plan: Leave the Portland area around 12. Get to the Eugene BLM to get a map. Head to the OHV area to find a spot to setup shop. Camping at Shotgun: No fees, No toilets, No running water, most likely not girlfriend aprooved. From the Map: To Get There: Shotgun OHV Area Follow I-5 to the 105 exit and head east into Springfield. Take the 42nd Street exit, head north and follow as it turns into Marcola Road. Follow for 12 miles through the town of Marcola to Shotgun Creek Road, turn west on BLM road 16-1-5 and follow roughly 4 miles to Staging area. If you interested in meeting up on eather Saturday or Sunday we can set a meet time and location. Most likey the best place to meet is at the trail head/ entrance to the OHV area
  14. Here is another shot of the wreckage. you can also see the oil that leaked, up by were the window and hood meet and mixing with the dirt at the bottem of that fender. After the car got done smoking and we put more oil in it the 2.2 powered on the rest of the day!! [
  15. I just got caught in a sticky place, after we roled it back over and burn all the oil out of the piston then we went back up it, only to turn around because my buddy didn't want to go up farther after the split conects back together. This was fine with me, I need to cool down after the tip over. For shotgun OHV area memorial day weekend, It is a area close to the same as browns camp, It is just north of springfield, i have never been. plan so far is to leave on friday to get down there before the BLM closes in eugene to get a map. We are meeting a freind off the I-5 exit later that day. If you guy are interest we can set meet times that will work good for yall, alot of details are still in the air so more info next week.
