  1. Drive shaft as in the cv axle? Do the turbo ea82 axles fit in the wrx hubs?
  2. Yea I forgot to clarify 02 wrx I just want to use the knuckles and brakes. So I can use wrx for the front and only use xt6 for the rear? But need the xt6 front arms. What do u mean rounded out ea82 arms?
  3. I got the whole drive train from my friend that did a sti swap on his bugeye. will the parts i have work with the xt6 training arms and tierod ends and do i need more then just those two parts from the xt6? This is going in my 88 turbo ea82 wagon. Its a 5 speed so the axles should fit right?
  4. Had the same issue it was the sensors in the distributor swapped it out with a junkyard one and runs great. Yours prolly just has bad dirty connectors
  5. Do those use a coolant temp sensor. My car did that untill i replaced the CTS but it was an ea82t.
  6. Found out where my exhaust was leaking the up pipe flange snapped off when checking the gasket welded it back on and now its boosting 10psi instead of the 5psi and I have low rpm torque again.
  7. they check under the hood. heres a pic or the timing its at 8 degrees btdc and the rotor is pointing at the #1 cyclinder but should it point at the top of the spark plug or no. and the second pic what is the goldish circle thing below the carb opening because its loose and turns both ways.
  8. It was cold so I'll check it warmed up next time but I think I'm just going to swap a different carb on it and go from there. I'll tell you how that goes
  9. HC gpm 1.8378 limit 2.500 passed CO gpm 107.2887 limit 20.00 fail CO2 gpm 271.18 limit doesnt say NOx gpm 0.0653 limit 4.500 passed
  10. The throttle screw was not even touching the lever I had to turn it a full turn to get it to touch and move the lever so I guess it was at the lowest idle and still running at 800 I'm pretty sure I don't have a vacuum leak as I fixed them awhile ago. It will drip a little fuel when I open the throttle is that normal. And they said my cats passed and it has a different carb on it from an auto car cuz the original ones choke didn't seem to open right.
  11. 86 hatch ea81 carb non feedback failed co gpm at 107.2887 limits 20.00. Ive heard its a rich fuel problem but i don't know how to adjust it. my idle is around 800-1000 and the screw that had the pin blocking it is screwed all the way in when i checked it after emissions i backed it out 2 turns but doesn't seem to change idle don't know if driving is different or if it will pass emissions just from backing out the screw. it passed everything else.
  12. +1 on the Nissan alt just did one the other day very easy drops in with minimal work just some grinding of the spacer and drill the wire eyelet out a bit and remove or solder new plug on just be sure the threaded part on the alt fits the bolt good mine stripped out but it could just be that I got bad threads.
  13. pulled my friends brat engine out to see what happened to his clutch and to reseal the engine. had a skid plate bolt seize to the frame nut and the nut broke loose and had to drill a hole above it to get it off.
