I have a torque converter that is still poking out and won't go in that last 1/4". The c-clip came out and I left it out (just to try) and it still won't go in. OK, how did you guys fish out the long oil pump shaft in the first group of pictures? Mine won't budge. I'm considering pulling the differential to get access to the shaft. I've done this TC install before and just can't get this one to go.
