  1. didn't know you were not a member here. Welcome my friend!
  2. I miss him too! great guy he is and I loved talking to him. Such a smart man!
  3. This right here is the single reason I take it to the dealer to get this service done. If they can't even get this right...
  4. Non-turbo fans work as needed. I guess my thing is how/why did this thing burp all over the darn place. I think the flush/fill is nothing more then drain and refill. I'm not sure about the "conditioner" being put in either. They will be getting many questions monday.
  5. so in the past 8 days I have put about 1200 miles (mostly highway and fairly fast speeds) on my 06 baja that now has 63,000 on it. Today I was pulling a hill at about 80ish with an outside temp of about 33F and I look down and my temp gauge is a little under the hot zone (say 11 o'clock) and it normally runs just a few hairs under "9 o'clock". I get home and there is coolant splattered out the top of the bucket on the battery and frame rail. The bucket is empty and the top hose feels empty too. I coax about a cup of coolant into the rad and top off the bucket (say 1.5 cups) WTH, do you think happened? I had the coolant flushed about 2200 miles ago at a dealer just a FYI. opinions?
  6. does anyone have a good internal manual transmission pic of say a legacy or impreza (no stis pics please) I need to see the inside with the case removed (case open but guts inside type of pic) Thanks!
  7. Welcome! Nice Becca and I caught that bumper on the OB too. Looks great!
  8. I flew in for the show this year and I rented an outback from dollar rental car at the airport. Do what I did: rent a cheap POS and then ask to upgrade it "but only if it isn't too much more". Worked for me.
  9. I just wanted to say I had a blast at the show and met a lot of great people. I have to say it was money well spent for me to come out to the show and I want to thank WCSS for putting on a great show. I also, wanted to thank Rob and his family for their hospitality too! Everyone at work was asking about my trip out there and I said it was a long, strange trip its been. (but in a good way) Since I had to come home a day later I got to so some touring of Oregon and had fun doing that too. One mistake I did make was not going out there with a list of people so I could put faces with screen names. I talked to GD about his car but never knew who he was till I got home. Stuff like that. For those who know, the hurricane left me some crap to clean up when I got home but the damage was minimal so no worries there. My biggest issue is that my feet have blisters on from walking so much Thanks again to everyone and I have pics too but I need to get them uploaded first. I didn't take too many...I was too busy drooling at the soobs!
  10. I am so damn excited!!!!!!!!!! not excited about the plane ride though...:-\
  11. corn bought, Baja washed, everything in the car and ready to go. Just need some sleep....
  12. I got potato chips already (3 grocery stores later) and I will be buying the corn on the way home today. Should I cut down the amt. of corn I was going to buy? I was going to get 2 dz and then I thought maybe 1.5 dz might be more realistic but now???? opinions?
  13. I thought the Datsun was getting worked on too. Something about an open rear?
  14. there is going to be trannys????? neat-o unless something changes as of right now Denise will not be making the trip. It is a work related issue that can be discussed later in person. Denise is sad that she can't back up her "Hoffdarts" championship.
  15. she said potato salad in a previous post. just don't bring corn or potato chips. thats all me.
