  1. Back from the dead.!!! Did you ever find this diagram? Or am I going to have to draw you one?
  2. I have a few computers for the air ride left. maybe a few struts in unknown condition.
  3. that is one CLEAN XT6, Stock Muffler, Looks like riding on stock air suspension. Great car.
  4. I'm curious as to where you got the trans? when i did my EJ bellhousing to Locking Center diff EA/ER, i read all over the place and couldn't find anyone who'd done it before. BUT, on that note, your ER27 (stock Flat 6) wont' bolt to that transmission without an adapter plate. if you didn't know before. BUT it WILL bolt to an EG33  and it looks as if your air suspension is dead... or somebody doesn't like springs. EDIT: i'm an idiot. i read the EZ30, then looked at the pictures and completely forgot. you can split the trans and install the stubs from a Stock XT6 Differential, keeping the XT6 Axles, and knuckles, and whatever else you want. I've done it.
  5. far as I know, best you can do is 3.900 unless you know of someone who can weld a hybrid shaft PERFECTLY strait. if you can do that, then you can 4.444 swap it
  6. I almost guarantee you cut out the Diode, and inherently the power wire to the ECU.... I've done this before, and now know to keep that little section. Nobody really tells you about it in Swap Explanations though.
  7. Hey, names Rusty, on RS25, SubaruXT, SVXWN, DI, and other such sites.... figured i better show up here with my latest acquirement, 87 Leone 2door Liftback, with Rx trim package, but no EA82T,
  8. So, I have read the FSM for my xt6 and i believe the procedure to be the same (as the gearset is not all that different). I Looked for a Stamped number in the ring gear and the pinion gear, none to be found, apparently that means that there should be no shims to hold the pinion gear shaft "back" from the ring gear. after that i bolted the trans back together and still had the same problem, though it was reduced. I then proceded to adjust the ring gear "sideways". i got the gear to the point that it now hardly makes any noise when turning, and the "pulse" i felt while turning the input shaft is all but gone. Other updates can be read here. http://subaruxt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=11414 Any info would be of great help.
  9. Yes, the front diff came out of the same tranny as the Center diff, and i have not changed the rear diff. everything is as stock (other than the imput to the center diff.) Ratios
  10. Hey, i've got a '92 Legacy tranny 3.9 Ratio. bolted to an EG33 in my '89 XT6. I didnt want to have to deal with driveshaft shortening so i took the center diff off of the xt6 tranny and installed it on the Legacy tranny. in order to do this i had to switch out the front diff imput shaft (i also brought with it the front diff). Now i am wondering what is protocol with Shimming these gears correctly. It seems to be a bit to tight at the moment. Anyone with info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
