  1. http://s934.photobucket.com/albums/a...at/New%20Brat/ here is a link to my latest, an all original '86.
  2. How are the shirts coming? Maybe you posted elsewhere and I didnt see it. Thanks in advance.
  3. My first Brat I owned was a 1987 that I bought from a friend in 1990. I drove it for about a year and then sold it back to him. About 9 months later I bought it back and and drove it as a second vehicle for a couple of years then sold it. Wish I still had that one.
  4. Thanks for all the nice replys. I want to get a couple of the smaller exterior dents fixed and that is pretty much it. This will be my fun summer toy.
  5. Thanks, I wish i was closer to alot of you guys. Not many Subaru people here in the midwest.
  6. Maybe this will work. I am not the best with this stuff:banghead: http://s934.photobucket.com/albums/ad184/86brat/New%20Brat/
  7. Here is a link to pictures of my new '86 Brat. If anyone is interested the Brat without the cap will most likely be for sale soon as the wife doesnt think I need so many toys (I disagree though). http://s934.photobucket.com/albums/a...at/New%20Brat/
  8. My local Autozone had one and the gasket in stock for about 3-4 bucks.
  9. i am in Three Rivers, south of Kalamazoo.
  10. Thanks for the kind words. This one is originally from AZ. I tried to buy it a couple years ago but was too late and it had already been sold before i got there. The guy who bought it didnt do anything with it but let it sit so he decided to sell it to me a few months ago. I dont know of any more around her as of yet but i am looking.
  11. Hi, Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone here. I am trying to figure out how to use the board but am slowly figuring it out. I have had 2 Brats and a GL sedan. My latest is an '86 Brat. It has no rust so here in Michigan those are pretty rare so I am going to hang on to this gem. I attached a couple of pics, hope they come through ok. Looking forward to all of the great information available here and share anything i have learned. Bob [/ATTACH]
  12. I did not check the tolerances but the inside was not scored at all (i know this doesnt mean it may not bad though). Think I will just replace it and try that.
  13. I just replaced the head gaskets, oil pump seals and gaskets along with a new sending unit on my '86 EA81. The problem is after the engine reaches operating temperature the oil pressure drops to about 5lbs at idle and only about 25 at 3000 rpm. This was not a problem until after the new parts. Any of you guys have a suggestion? Thank you.
