what I'm trying to say is find someone with a wrx that's upgrading their brakes, and buy their stockers for cheap
-
you can put wrx brakes on your legacy... but legacy brakes are generally good anyway.. unless you've got one with drums in the back.. they did do that for a certain time period
-
have you ever seen a square with different length sides?
-
sorry, no pics (( it was a 2wd mazda b2300

Last night it was found out that a more or less stock legacy wagon will most assuredly push a mazda pickup up an icy hill out of the woods, through a snowbank, and into the road .... if such a thing were ever to be neccessary EDIT: bumper to bumper at 6k rpm with automatic trans in awd not 4wd

yeah that's why I carry around 100lbs of spare parts + tools

I just took the legacy 700 miles in one day... never taken it farther than 60miles away so far.. seemed to do fine. in other words, I see no reason I can't make it, even if the xt6 isn't back up and running by then

sure!! just direct the transmission's output into the T-case, and then the T-case's ouput to your driveshaft............. (easier said than done) http://www.skidmore.edu/~pdwyer/amc/eagle/gif/80eagle2_954738.gif gf's mom has some junked 4wd izuzu's, when do we start? -
I should take you to my dad's place some time soon.. he's having his land logged so there are some better trails than when I was a kid and we had kinda smooth 4wheeler trails... lotsa state-land with trails too

Snow fun, and fubar'd rear something
operose replied to MoscowSubaruDude's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
previous owner of my xt6 did the same thing.. but with the front wheel.. ended up driving the front axle right into the front diff and breaking a bunch of ************. took the transmission out, front stubs will spin, and the CATCH all of the sudden, really hard, and won't turn anymore.. put a wrench or whatever on it and give it some torque and it will turn... I know this is unrelated, just saying watch out for the curbs my man!!!! -
ok.. sorry.. didn't mean to belittle you or sound like an A**hole or anything....
