  1. At this situation (allmost a month), half of members in the club live in north Israel, so the club can't do nothing because it's too dangerous to offroad and half of the members stay on the shulters because the rockets.

  3. Hello all. I can't find in Israel offroad tyres in size: 185/80/14 or 195/80/14 to my Leone. Someone know if there is any offroad tyre in that sizes in U.S.? I saw pictures of someone from here that had offroad tyres in size 155/80/13 or 175/70/13. Thanks, Gal.
  4. I checked the Parts Catalog and I see that until 88' all the turbo's came with part time 4WD D/R (like I have on my Subie) and after that all of them came with FT4WD D/R. If my rear diff is 3.9 (originally) ratio and I buy in U.S. a tranny of a part time 4WD D/R from turbo Subie with rear diff 3.9 ration, still I have to get a new front axels and rear diff from the turbo Subie? If my rear diff is 3.9 ratio and I want to install an LSD from a 3.9 diff of RX or something like that, there is any problem that I have to solve (like change corona and pinion, etc...)? or just open the diff and install the LSD?
  5. OK, so I think I'll convert to EA82T because convert to EJ18 is too much hard to do. I allways thought that EA82 different from EA82T, I mean that on engine it says EA82T or EA82... What's the differences between EA82 and EA82T? valves, cylinders, somthing inside the engine... There are any differences between EA82T engines and turbo that on turbo it says "4WD Turbo MPFI" and just "MPFI" (or something like that)? Does Subaru produced a EA82T wagon with 5 Spd. D/R gear box? In the Parts Catalog it says EA82T with 5 Spd. S/R. Nowhere mention that the turbo wagons produced with a D/R gear, so how can I be sure that my existing D/R tranny wont break down under the pressure of the turbo engine? Someone know how to solve that problem? What are the things that I have to move from XT Turbo to my Leone to make it work without problems...? I know that one of the things that I have to buy a new one is a new down pipe and the complete exhaust (because the wagon is longer than the XT), what else...? Gal.
  6. Hello all. I own a 1990 Leone (name in Israel) 1.8DL 5 Spd D/R EA82. I think a lot about convert the lazy and noisy EA82 to EA82T or to EJ18. When I searched about convert from EA82 to EJ18, I see that it's very complicated, and in Israel 99% of the "turbo engines", aren't EA82T but EA82 with turbo (like the XT turbo have, etc...). Because of those things I write above I have some questions: 1. Does the convert from EA82 to EJ18 is equivalent to the convert from EA82 to EJ22 (that I red about that at this forum...)? I mean gear box change, mounting, etc... 2. What are the differences between EA82 and EA82T? 3. Does the 5 Spd D/R gear box and the cluch of my Subie can hold under the pressure (in offraod and onroad driving) of the EA82T/EA82 turbo? If not, what I have to change? 4. Can I use allmost all the parts of XT turbo, to convert my Subie to EA82T? I mean Engine, radiator, engine mount, fuel pump, fuel lines, down pipe and exhaust, catalist, etc... 5. What is easier to do? What You shuld do? convert to EA82T or to EJ18? because both of them are MPFI...?   7. Hello. I own a 1990 Leone (Israeli model) 4x4 D/R 1.8DL. I think a lot about converting from the existing EA-82 to EJ-18 because a lot of reasons: 1. Convert from CARB to Injection. 2. The EJ-18 have more HP and KG/M. 3. The Injection dosen't have problems in offroad angels like the CARB have. 4. The EJ-18 is a better engine for a long time, unlike the EA-82. After all that, someone did this convert? Does the gear can handle with the power of the EJ-18? Does the gear fit to the EJ-18? If someone can tell me more detailes about this convertion, I'll be glad. Thanks, Gal.

  9. I'm from Israel. The law in Israel doesn't allow to insert big wheels. Only sizes that write in the parts catalog of Subaru or in Autodata. I can fit a (5 centimeter longer then original shocks of the Leone) yellow Koni shocks that fit originally for Forester to Leone because it's an insert shocks. The problem is that the Forester or the Impreza springs doesn't fit to Leone because they are bigger then those of the Leone. Someone may have an idea for this?
  10. Hi all. My last purcash was a 1990 Leone (Loyale in US) SW 4X4 D/R EA-82. There is any changes between EA-82 and EA-82T? If yes, what are the changes? Someone may have the original accessories catalog of Subaru Loyale/Leone? I want to lift my wagon by change the springs to longer one. Someone tried this before? If yes, what type of springs fit to that model?   11. Hi everyone. Next month I start the restoration of the 1980 wagon. In Israel, there are lots of subaru like I have but from model 82-84 (there are some different things between 80-81 and 82-84, specialy the interior), so I can't find all the parts I need for my car. The solution to that problem is to import parts from US and/or Canada to Israel. If anyone have interiot and/or exterior parts for 80-81 1.6DL wagon, and can send it to Israel, I will be glad to buy from him those parts. Thanks, Gal.

  17. A friend of minee have Loyale 1.8 SPFI EA82. The chack engine light blink 3 times for long time and then 5 times for short time. Someone can tell me please what's the problem? What that code means? Thanks, Gal.
  18. What is the firewll on the passenger side? what is this firewall? can u show me a pic with the place of the firewall and the place of the relays. I try to remember where is this place and what are that relays but I'm not remember where and what its is so if U have any pictures of that thing I will be glad.

  20. Hi. I know what is the difference between DL and GL, but what GL-10 means? What's the difference between GL and GL-10? What models got the GL-10? What the "10" that next to the "GL" means? Gal.
  21. First thing, most of the interior of the car is similar, and most of the exterior is similar. The second thing, I did, was to check the fuse. it was ok, I even try with new fuse but it didn't work. What could be the problem? And how can I solve it?
  22. Hello. Today's morning my parents use the Leone 92 to go to shopping and come back home. They used the ventilation and sometimes the a/c till they get home. After 2 hours, In drove to a store to buy oil and when I turned the button from off to 1-2-3-4 the ventilation or a/c didn't work. It's seems like it dead. I turned the button but nothing happend. I checked the vacum of the system, but it was ok. When I tried to turn the button when when the a/c button press in the compressor didn't work too. Someone can tell me what can be the problem? What is the part that make me this annoying problem? How can I fix that problem? Thanks, Gal.
  23. Hello. I saw in last week a massage that there are a JDM EA71 with 2 carburators and EA82 with 2 carburators. Someone can told me more details about that engines? There are any changes between the regular EA71 with 1 carburator and EA82 with 1 carburator and the EA71 with 2 carburators and EA82 with 2 carburators? Where can I find those engines? someone can tell me a place that have those engines in good condition? How much those engines can cost? (average price is ok with me) Can I swap between the EA82/EA71 with 1 carburator and the EA82/EA71 with 2 carburators? There are some parts in the car that I need to change before I can swap those engines? Thanks, Gal.
  24. What is the heater core? do U have any pic of it? because I'm not understand what is this part.... One more thing, what is backflush mean? how I do that? Can U explain to me please, what did U mean when U write: "Also make sure that you have the heater ON when doing this to make sure the control valve that controls flow to the core is in the open position"? -I didn't understand that sentance. Anyway, thanks for the answer.
  25. Hi. I have problem with my sister's subaru. (she have subaru like I have) The green water of the engine cooling system is very dirty, like it have mud in it. I cleaned the radiator and the pipes and change the green water of the engine cooling system with new one before 3500KM, and when I check it last week I saw that the water is dirty again. What could cause the green water to be so dirty? How can I solve that problem for ever? Thanks, Gal P.S: The engine is EA71.
