  1. Welcome to the forum, lots of material here from the great Subaru minds. Word of advise: take your time and search, research/re-read thru the threads. And feel free to ask questions. Someone here knows the answer, has probably done it before. Cheers!
  2. Welcome aboard. Here in the US, we know it as the Subaru RX Turbo.
  3. 1984 Subaru BRAT suspension components...all components needed, since BRAT is now only a rust free body/ shell with al glass and dorrs intact. It needs a forklift to be moved. Any suggestions/availablity of a suspension upgrade would be much appreciated. I do not need engine nor transmission parts since I plan to go the EJ route. Please PM me if you have anything, will check my messages every Friday same time as this post. Thanks folks.
  4. Nice find, will have many of us drooling but wishing you all the best in restoration.

  8. ...then buy a WRX engine to swap, should cost less than that...
  9. Many have done the swap, just look thru the various threads and see what you can find...then the experts will step in.
  10. The experts here have spoken and given you 2 options of the best wire guys around...I hope you found your answer. Just in case you didnt, closest thing I can point you to...the VW guys on the samba.com...my cousin got some help from a couple of guys overe there when he was doing an EG33 conversion into his Vanagon Syncro. From your signature, I sense that you may have a van in the works, possibly poweerd by a Subaru engine? Good luck with your project and keep us posted.
  11. ALternatively, one of the members here is making an adapter that goes only on the wheels and makes youyr car 5-lug...does not involve the suspension...search in the products area.
  12. Congrats on your trade/purchase, enjoy as your smile gets wider..especially when the first real snow hits...take your time and she will treat you well...the experts are here, ready to jump in whenever needed.

  14. Loyale..thanks for the info...I have seen Subaru engines in VW's...am also soon acquring a Vanagon Syncro..thinking of a Subar Conversion too.
  15. Hi, are you saying that you have a VW with a SUBARU EA82 engine?
  16. Thanks for reply, the demand is there for these adapters is there...that why I absolutely love this board...whether cheap or pricey, that is the true Subaru Spirit!!
  17. Nice thread on your GL sedan, and good effort in saving it from crusher. Are you able to make and sell me same kind of spacers/adapters?
  18. Got my eye on a '92 Subaru SVX with low miles and blown transmission.Would like to keep it an auto so that my girlfriend can also drive it(I prefer stick shift but you know how it be sometimes).Looking at the best compatible transmissions,I also have access a '94 Subaru Turbo Legacy wagon, auto transmission witha blown engine, am thinking this may be closer to handling the SVX engine power than a regular Legacy tranny? If so, what other parts would be needed for swapping, any wirng changes or is it just slap and go?Any advise highly apreciated. Thanks in advance.
