  1. I put a EJ2.5 sohc with a 5spd d/r trans. the diff is in the some location. I have never broke an axle. If you do the complete lift, body and strut lift it works great. My lifted Legacy is my daily drive. the only way to get the diff higher off the ground is bigger tires, I'm running 30inch big horne, I hope I answered all your questions, If you need a lift you can send me a PM or you can call me at 541 738-2967 Thanks, Gemini

  2. Hey, first off nice Legowag! Does your lift retain the original engine/trans/dif location or does it drop it? Curious how much angle 3" of lift adds to the CV's? Thanks.

  3. Wow! Thats a steal! I'm jealous.
  4. If i'm not in a training class then I would be willing to help. My suby isnt really fit for bushwhacking, but i would be up for chopping and cutting.
  5. not really. we all hang out at one eye's house for the most part. If you want to chat, go the the Shucks/O'reilly's in mount vernon when you see the red legacy sedan with all the headlights in the parking lot, and ask for Yohn or Jmarkus (both are me). I'm there most days after 4 pm.

  6. Took the Legacy out camping Saturday. Played in the mud today. What I did a few weeks ago: Clutch/Pressure Plate Throwout/Carrier Bearing Front/Rear main seals Cam Seals A few other misc. seals All 4 timing belt rollers Timing Belt tensioner Timing Belt Water pump Thermostat New upper/lower rad. hoses New Radiator Both front Drive Axels Fixed crack in exhaust manifold (a few other little things here and there too)
  7. Hey, I joined and now see a bunch of you Mt. Vernon guys are on here. I've seen you all driving around town and at Big Rock Grocery. Anyway, do you guys meet up regularly?

  8. That is why I pay $5 a month extra on my insurance for Uninsured Motorist Coverage. Bummer that happened, on a positive note though you sure seem to enjoy working on stuff and wrenching etc. I've enjoyed the hell out of your thread, will read more.
  9. Who's got the lifted Legacy Wago? Is he on here?
  10. Some of those trails up in Walker Valley get pretty intense with rocks, holes, mud etc.
