  1. So get a 90/91 intake wiring harness? Any chance I could re-pin the harness I have if I got the right connectors? where can I get just the Intake harness?
  2. This is what I had Scott Raper do: "I am sending you a wiring harness from a '90 legacy 2.2 going into a GL '87 with a '94 2.2 in it". I am not sure what year the donor engine/intake is
  3. Hello, I will give an abbreviated version of the long story to get where I am now. Basically I had an engine and Intake manifold, had the wiring harness sent off to get re-done for a 1986 GL. The intake manifold for the car got junked by accident. I bought an engine of a similar year for parts. Took the Intake Manifold off, put it on the installed engine. Everything bolted up, plugged in, except for when I went to plug in to the wiring harness. There were three plugs on the wiring harness end, but only two on the Intake Manifold. Was there a year that they changed the wiring? What is the third plug for? It looks like the two large square plug would go together but the plastic plug has different tracks. What are my options? Thanks for the help! -Jesse
  4. YOu get the money I sent?

  5. Saw you are interested in the lifted subie in Denver. I just want the tires and brush gaurd. I live In grand junction. Any chance you want to go in on it?

  6. Pulled the wiring harness off a donor EJ22, took some other parts off. Sent the wiring harness of to SJR, hopefully get it back soon. I bought one of the members cars here where he put a ej22 into a 87' gl and then tried to Carb it. Tore off all the carb stuff.. Anyone need this setup? Weber Carb and Distributor, and other stuff??? Took off the Intake Manifold, looks like he drilled the intake with it mounted, worried about shavings in the engine! Took off Intake Manifold and pulled the Manifold off the Donor Car.. I wonder how much of a headache this is going to be once I get the Wiring harness back! Looking for some Peugot Wheels, Anyone know the Backspace off of them? Looking into getting some made... Bought the 2" lift made by The Beast I drive, looks well made and thought out! Cant Wait until I get this thing going!!!
  7. Has anyone purchased a set (4 or 5 wheels) from either of the mentioned companies? How much did it run you ? Thanks, Jesse
  8. The wheels are sold but the tires are still for sale

  9. Tires are still for sale

  10. Do you still have those wheels and tires for sale?

  11. I just picked up the project car of a member on here and am having it shipped here. ej22 into a GL '87. It runs, but there are bugs. I dont know what I am getting myself into! I will be rough trying to figure out what was done to it and what needs to be done. I also have a dented 1980's brat sitting in my yard that needs work. Too many projects! -Jesse
  12. I am very interested in your car. Please email me at jzacher85@gmail.com or call 970-712-8998 please respond! thanks

  13. So, about a few weeks ago I did a seal job on my 88' GL. Took out the AC pump and made a bracket. I now run one belt for all pumps and pulleys. (is this ok?). Upon starting up and driving it after the seal job here was a loud clacking from what we thought was a lifter. After driving it 30 miles the clacking went away completely. After 270 miles, and as my fuel gage showed low the clacking started randomly again. I thought that maybe there was some crud getting captured in the hydrolic lifter passage and it had just worked out. I did a oil change the other day to get out any crud from the seal job th inking this would help. The clacking is still there and changes pitch (high pitch to lower) even when I maintain a certain RPM (oil pressure should be the same and not be the cause of pitch change right?) I have heard that running a oil detergent can help. what is the likely hood that it is some crud getting caught in there or lifter issue? thanks for the help! -Jesse
  14. Did a seal job, timing belt, clutch, and lift. Still leaks oil. blah. The front wheels still have a inward camber despite the 15 degree block angle. Is this typical? Also took out the AC and put a bracket in where the AC pump used to be. I then ran one belt over all pullys instead of two. Will this work out alright and give enough pressure to turn the water pump well? Thanks to The Dude Abides for wheels! -JEsse
