  1. No wonder you can't sell it. Brats go for about 2,300 in excellent condition such as yours, but no so good of shape ones sell for about 1,300 or lower. Adding things to an old car like that isn't going to boost the price as much as you'd think. For example I couldn't take a junker thats worth 100 bucks, toss in a good engine worth 2,000 and expect to sell it for 2,100. Just an example, not calling the car junk. But it's kind of the same concept. But anyway I apologize for the misunderstanding, would you be willing to drop from 5,000?

  2. Your ************ing joking right? You said this:

"I have probably close to 6500 in this, not including and of my labor. so its either take a 1500 hit on this, or take 1000 hit on my SVX."

You said if you can't sell the SVX you'll sell the Brat for 1500...

  3. OK, I've got the cash, is the price still the same? 1,500? Would you be willing to drop a little because of the pugs? If not thats not a problem. I'm from southern Illinois. Just hold the vehicle til Friday the 29th. I'll send you a cashiers check or I can pay over paypal as a down payment. Would 100 be fine?

Just to be clear, theres absolutely nothing wrong with it, and everything mentioned on the post is included in the deal besides the pugs you sold?

We'll talk about the exchange details when I see you online. Or you could drop me your number if you want.

  4. I'm really interested. If I can sell this 2001 Limited Ed. PT Cruiser for like 3,000 I'll definitely buy it. It's ashame you sold the pugs but hey its still one hell of a deal even without them.

  5. its not on craigslist, i did post some pics of it on my thread. No more pugs on it, they were sold a few days ago. I am going to be taking lift kit off soon if nobody jumps on it.

  6. Could you hand me a link to that craigslist ad? I wanna take a look at the Brat.

  7. By no means was I bashing at that guy who sells the kits. I never said "hey don't buy this guys stuff". I know SJR has wonderful and advanced products, I was only stating if the guy wanted a basic lift kit that wouldn't burn a hole in his pocket there are plenty of ways he could do it. He could buy SJR if he wanted precision, make it himself, or have another person make it on here. I apologize if we got off on the wrong foot but I'm not part of any sales pitch for a specific product. I'm merely giving options. As far as introductions, my names Luke, 18 from southern Illinois. I own a 1987.5 GL-10 XT also known as the Unicorn.
  8. Thinking and knowing something is completely different. I'm really loving all the warm welcomes I'm getting.
  9. Like I said on the one thread, I get along with everyone. I'm used to the 'noob status' that you get when you join most forums. What I said was sarcasm and I guess a few people took that too literally but I was still just messing around not trying to start a situation or anything. My lack of knowledge won't discourage me from trying to get my voice in ya know? After all I'm here to learn and have fun.

But anyway, I'm Luke. I'm just spending alot of time on here and car websites trying to find out information on which car I want and other knowledge. I'm thinking about laying off the sarcasm around here because from what I've seen people don't understand. Such as how I was looking to buy this guys wagon, I asked how many lugs and he said 4. So I said "ok so in other words a six lug" referring to the 6 lug conversion and the guy pretty much called me an idiot lol, I even threw in a sarcastic looking smiley face d@mnit! Awell ill get used to it as everyone does.

  10. Lol i get along with everyone. I'm not new to forums. It always happens. Just hassling the new guy.
  11. gain some thick skin my friend. you will get nothing but pissed if you "talk back" on here

remember your young and you dont know nearly as much as anyone thats older (so ive been told)

'NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE' i usually think about what these guys look like when they "upset" me (could be some rich buff dude but then what would he be doing on a old subaru forum? ) so i often picture some lonely chubby old guy that sits in front of his computer on USMB just to talk $hit people he doesnt know then use someone else on the thread as leverage.

what im sayin is: ignore most "rude" comments if you can. Just laugh then get back to your life, go do things an 18 year old would do like TALK TO GIRLS

  12. Unless people would like to spend the extra $300 to have SJR cut into every piece of their lift kit.
