I am working on a 79 Brat and I just wanted to know where the ac compressor should be mounted. I also think the fan and core were taken out. Where do they go? Would it be possible to buy one that isn't outrageously expensive? I don't have a great deal of experience in this area so any help would be necessary.

I have been working on the cooling system for my 79 Brat and whoever owned it before me replaced the radiator and rather than figure out the wiring for the coolant fans, they wired a separate manual switch into the cab for the coolant fans. I would like to fix this so the fans will turn on from the coolant temperature switch. Do the Gen I Brats have 1 or 2 cooling fans(because mine currently has 2)? And is the wire connecting to the coolant fan switch the positive terminal or the negative? Any help is greatly appreciated. -
Sorry I wasn't very clear about the stage II dash. I just assumed your current situation wouldn't allow to ship the dash to UT. Which is why I wish I was closer to CT. I am new to the forum (although it's the greatest thing ever) but I'm trying to be patient with finding parts and availability. Thanks for all your help.
