  1. Anyone in the portland area know how easy it would be to get my '86 GL to pass? Its got a weber and original cats, but I bought it without a muffler. Is this going to cause an issue? What other things should I be "warned" about or take care of before I register?
  2. I'm seriously interested in this and would love to buy this rig! Couldn't get out there until the weekend though. Please email me or give me a call. joshua.kelly73 @ gmail. com or five O three 8 1 nine 1 5 1 O. Thanks.

  3. One word- amazing. Gotta say every idea I have you seem to have a write up for. And very detailed at that. Not to be a noob an annoying but I had the same question. Read the whole thread and I'm coming up with 7-T10 bulbs and 15-t5 bulbs total. Hopefully this is right. Cheers!
  4. Pretty sure I saw you this morning on HWY 22 just east of the Aumsville exit. Lol I was driving the ambulance going westbound. Got an 86 here in town that is getting ready to take off as soon as I finish painting my WRX
  5. Been digging up and trying but after a few days im going the lazy route and asking you guys... I have an '86 EA82 GL that I recently bought, rebuilt and have been putting around in while my WRX gets painted. However I have been concerned with blowing these fusible links. The lid that houses them shows 4 links but opening it there are only 3 inside and the 4th one (or one closest to the front of the car) is not only missing but only has one terminal to plug the link onto. As I have noticed a few other things that were wired different I'm wondering if this has been messed with by a previous owner. I will most likely be going out to the Junkyard for a little R&D zzz but if anyone has info on what goes to and from each link that would be awesome. And hopefully "The Goat" will be getting me to and from work again soon. Cheers!
  6. Hey, getting paid next week. I'm putting it on an EA82. Which one is in better condition, or be the best option for the engine? This has been a learning build for me and I've been trying to hunt up info on these carbs, but by all means if you have suggestions let me know.

  7. hey would you be able to rehost those pics I'm trying to figure out what vac lines I really need to keep.
  8. That turned out really really good man. Nice work. How long did it take positioning it and everything?
  9. Hey all! New guy to the forums here. Been in the Subie game for a few years now coming from a '01 LGT then into my current car which is a '96 Impreza Anyway, hopefully going to pick up my new baby tonight that will be my DD while I swap my L. Which means the 2.2 will be going into the Loyale. Really excited to get it up in the air and learn more about the car. Seems like theres a TON of guys from Oregon on here. I'm just outside of Salem myself, looking forward to meeting and learning and hopefully meeting up with some cool people to go destroy things in Subies Cheers, Brian
