  1. ^^^ ya that sounds about right i was looking at those same wheels for my 85 wagon. cant wait to see them all mounted!
  2. awesome! looks good, did you remove the old paint and rust or just a scuff pad? now all you have to do is the rest of the air filter body!
  3. funny though they went to all the work for paint and body work with worse that stock wheels, other wise they look awesome.
  4. ^^^ funny story actually while i was changing my doj boot last summer i left a 14 mm wrench on the control arm bolt pinched up against the unibody rail, and pulled it off around christmas. the wrench stayed on that bolt for about 2,000 miles.
  5. here are the pics of my new struts. and another pic of behind my fuse box, i was poking around and realized that the owner before be spliced in a inline fuse.
  6. i got my struts in the mail yesterday ( KYB GR2), now im just waiting on the stuts mounts, front wheel bearings, and my weber.
  7. oh, gotcha. what type of silicone are you using for bell house gasket, crank case, ect.
  8. ha ha ha, thats funny sh*t. sounds like something i would do. im going to seafoam my crank case, and in the manifold, also the fuel system.
  9. sh*t! why go all the way to portland, just drive it up to great falls, ill look at it! ive worked on a farm for years, and rebuilt the front end on my subie. just let me know and ill do it. besides that way i can see first hand a ea82 with a weber, have mine in the mail but still have to install it.
  10. i will!! i think it that old wagon though it would be awesome to get all wheel drive and some power, so that when you lay into it you giggle.
  11. ya im on the look out for a 78 wagon, really want to get one like was posted on the last page. im thinking ej25 swap, bare essentials; tunes, heater, and practicality!
  12. i would trade a model like this any day for my ea82 wagon!
  13. ok here are some pics of the new painted spring, and spring top piece for the passenger side! before and after painting. i sand blasted both
  14. yeah that was pretty fast for an almost stock ea82, and that other sedan wasnt stock iether. i can agree on the fact that the other sedan is pretty cool, and the body lines are a bit harsh, and even though its a work in progress it is a nice job done. just currious what is a BOV?
  15. that is pretty legit! i like how you did the lights in a triangular format so it tooks like a rally car from the early 90's
  16. i define what is practical to me, not any other human being. so im to define as practical to my standards, and to my standards it is not practical. that sedan is kind of like a chopped 50's chevy; in my opinion i think it is ridiculous and destroys the soul of the vehicle. no hard feelings just my opinion. i mean if the person who owns that sedan was going to build street racing car. he could have done an ej swap and turbo'd it and then it would have been practical because then it would have been fast, and won races and so on and so forth. but with that ea82 it is probably about as fast as an stock eclipse.
