  1. My pugs have probably 4 layers of paint on them and I want to start over but I want todo it right and I'm not sure about using a sand blaster. Bead blaster or paint thinner or a wire wheel or what to strip the precious paints off. I was reading earlier avoid Sand blasters damaging the structural integrity of the rim and I've tried weak paint thinner before and had no luck. Another problem is the rims are so soft if I use anything hard to scrape the paint off it just dents the rims. Has anyone had any luck getting paint off of those things without too much time and damage done to them? Thanks
  2. Honestly. Your 2 cents are much appreciated. As much as I wanna go rotary. I'd only do it if I could go 3 rotor and that just seems like soo much mula. Plus I don't know enough about rotaries haha. But do you think that toyota would make a strong enough rear end and trans? Like a 7m supra?
  3. Only reasons why I don't want a RWD trans is i don't want a 4 speed and I don't want to have to order a custom driveline. Also I'm just a 19 year old and I love drifting and doing burnouts. How practical it is isn't an issue haha. However I am looking into better suspension.
  4. I have a currently RWD converted 88 ea82 gl and I want to swap a 350 into it. I was mostly wondering If anyone's done this swap on the forums and had any advice on it. Also curious as to what kind of rear end to run and if an ej22 trans would be able to hold the power
  5. I drove my car HARD for about a year on a tranny with a goin out 2nd gear until it blew up, but there is no need for worry if you drive normal
  6. I think it may just be where I live but the BRZ costs like 7k more at the dealership, looking online the price difference reallly isn't that bad at all. Especially with a turbo model coming out in a few years
  7. I (as hard as I try) cant find a decent full side by side comparison between the BRZ and FRS. Could someone guide me to one because I dont understand why Subaru had to mark up the price so much higher than the FRS. Id rather own a BRZ but because of cost I feel like a lot of people would rather just settle for the FRS. I understand the slight differences in suspension and the interior electronics but the price doesnt reflect the gain in quality very well.
  8. I converted to RWD so my mindframe is all out of whack.
  9. I'm pretty sure if you do those miata ones you will need to do some serious fab work compared to if you just shop around a little.
  10. In all honesty it was VERY easy and 100% worth it. Especially because I only had 4wd before. And 4wd blows lol
  11. Yeah I'll give the 4x guys a call tomorrow. I'll also purposefully not tell them a color so I do get pink lol
  12. So my RWD EA82 88 GLs U joint is going out and i was wondering if there's anywhere I can buy a lighter driveline
  13. I'm RWD so it really doesn't matter considering I don't have front CV axles? Right? At this point I just don't know how to transfer the Female axle joint to the Male WRX one on the CV axles, I've looked into it and the only way seemingly possible is to break it off, and I'm not really trying haha
